This place has been here for 14 years, close to my best friend’s place yet I only noticed it recently for the first time. I wanted to come in and grab a business card ’cause this place is a lot closer to where I had to go get wine for a dinner party or house warming than going all the way downtown. I came in all cheery and friendly but the guy at the counter looked as though I was a nuisance wasting his time. His customer service or lack of was a complete turn off which is a shame as I wanted this to be my go to place. I think I will go back downtown where the service is friendlier.

Three words… free wine tasting.
Ya, i’m easy but these guys make an effort when it comes to tastings switching up based on specific wineries or staff picks. This store offers up some of those rare finds you tasted in the Okanagan that you wish you bought a case of but were acting like a cheap arse and now regret it cause, i mean, when’s the next time you’ll be in the OK? We tried a particularly interesting blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Reisling tonight that impressed even my grumpy old dad.
Definitely check it out if you are in the neighborhood and need to impress some rich old Point Grey geezer. (so NOT talking about my dad here… I love you dad!!!).
