Limor and her team did an amazing job helping pack up my mother’s apartment. The team were sensitive and considerate and did an absolutely perfect job. I cannot thank them enough. I have never written a Unilocal review but Vancouver in the Box deserves recognition for this job.

10 stars for vitb Limor and staff. Part 2 of review. Virginia and the 2 other ladies came over and unpacked everything and made sure my wife was comfortable and not stressed at all. I was super impressed with there caring and respectful way they handled everything. They even where concerned that she had eaten or not. Limor even bought dinner for her staff and my wife. They exceeded all expectations. Don’t make a mistake and call anyone else. you will not be disappointed if you hire Vancouver in the box. Thank you Limor, Virginia and staff and we are happy that Leslie is ok.

Moving sucks, but if you focus on stuff only YOU can do and let this company pack, you will be a leg up in life! Let them put your stuff wrapped carefully in BungoBoxes and cardboard, label strategically, pack your art and TVs. You focus on getting rid of crap and catching up all your errands, sewing, drycleaning, electronics recycling, office catchup, address changes, tax and travel, hey, maybe even fit in that workout/​yoga/​kids’ shopping, ie stuff only you can do and outsource stuff they will do better than you! Maybe you are like me and are too old to have friends helping you pack your crap. Let their uniformed, courteous, trustworthy, patient but quick staff methodically tackle your packing. Having stuff properly packed and color labelled saves moving expense too. Limor was great about coming to quote and manage her team for our 3500 sq ft house full of kid debris plus garage.

This company is the best packing/​unpacking company I have ever used (and, as someone with a physical disability, I’ve had to use many). Limor was efficient, met all deadlines, provided an amazing team and took the stress out of the move. I recommend her services without hesitation.

They descended on the house like a flock of angels. On time, calm, collected, polite, respectful and incredibly organized right out of the gate. They brought appropriate uniforms, aprons, foot wear and had packed lunches and water bottles. Very well prepared! A colour coding system was put in place to suit the transfer from our old home to the new arrangement at our new home while being considerate of the movers’ needs. They did a quick walk through reviewing what is to be packed, what is to be left, a quick reference chart created, a quick team meeting and they promptly shifted into gear beginning to efficiently and swiftly pack. Dispersed into every room and everything handled with care and specific attention to detail. Brief consultations to consider what needs to be opened first for when we unpack. Labelling furniture as to which room it goes for the movers and even labeling shelves so they can be returned to the same configuration and labelling boxes to say which shelf items they contain. Amazing!
For an over-​organized, self-​conscious, hands-​on person like me it was hard to relax and let them do their thing but if there was anyone I could let go with, it would be these lovely, perfectly appointed people. Limor clearly selects well-​suited personalities for the job — another tough thing to do — but she’s got a clever and smart system. I’d definitely recommend these people and I only wish I knew of this service a year ago for our last move because they could truly pack our entire home in just one day — the entire kitchen, bedroom, office space, loads of books, tons of odd-​shaped ornaments and you-​name-​it. Incredible.
And they’ll unpack you as well!

Found Vancouver in a box online and booked their services to move a large one-​bedroom apartment with packing. They were absolutely awesome and did exactly as advertised.
The ladies that did the packing were professional and courteous and did a great job. the movers were great and the whole process was stress free. In 12 hours I was sitting in my new apartment with everything unpacked without me lifting a finger :)

We knew we wanted to use a packing services for a residential move last November. I called a few places, and quickly decided on Vancouver in the Box based on their stellar customer service and Limor’s obvious expertise.
The packing process was completely painless. Limor’s team coordinated all of the packing materials. They arrived the day before our move and packed everything in one hour less than they had estimated. Boxes were logically organized and clearly labeled. When we unpacked things, we discovered how well packed everything was (including delicate things, like China). The cost was as quoted — in the land of moving, a rarity.
Absolutely no hesitations in recommending Vancouver in the Box — well worth the cost.

I had lived in my tiny 1 bedroom apt for 30 years and love my ‘things’. I thought I could do the packing and had movers coming on the Monday. I had lots of boxes and was packing «slowly».
I totally underestimated what needed to be done and then became overwhelmed. On Saturday evening I knew I was in deep, deep trouble. I called my mover and he told me to contact Limor. She took pity on me and came after doing another move on Sunday to help me. She and her assistant had me packed in 4 hours. They were very pleasant, very efficient and literally saved my sanity.
I would recommend Vancouver in the Box to anyone. Especially older people who think they can still do what they did years ago. However, don’t do what I did, Limor might not be available to help you. Contact her and make arrangements for packing your ‘things’ in a timely manner.

I called Vancouver in the box to pack us up for a last minute move, and they were happy to accommodate us. Limor was so helpful and even coordinated with the movers so that everything could be done in the same day! The packers arrived on time, they were all very friendly and were able to get the job done within a few hours. I give them top marks for being so accommodating and lovely to work with. I would recommend them to friends!

They were great. I started with them, and they recommended a good moving truck company and they took care of the the Frog Box rental for me.
They were on time, and finished on time too.
The boss even made sure the building’s concierge was ready for the truck that was due to arrive about an hour after they were finished.

We have moved a number of times /​as I get older it seems each moves becomes more stressful and more chaotic. That was until I found Limor at In the Box. Wen she came over. Both my wife and myself immediately new she was a pro. She made us feel at home, discussed how moves don’t have to be stressful and that packing properly will make the move go as easy as possible. She recommended frog boxes and we immediately agreed as we had used them before and found that their systems are so much better than cardboard boxes. .We were moving on a Saturday and on Thursday evening all the boxes were delivered. Friday by 9:30 a crew of 6 showed up and by 2 the whole house was packed all 90 boxes and 12 wardrobes, Saturday morning Angels Moving showed up with two trucks and 5 men. By 5Pm we were moved and and the same crew from Limor had us totally unpacked and all our stuff put away. Granted not everything went exactly as we would have liked but 95% did so we had no complaints Lets recap 24 hrs. before the move not one box was packed in our house .By 5Pm on the move day everything is unpacked and put away. On Monday all the boxes and wardrobes were picked up .
In the box brings all the supplies and when they had unpacked they put all the used packing paper in biodegradable bags for recycling pickup .
Saturday evening all be it we were tired we planned on having friends and family; over the next day to see our new house .I would say a pretty great t move all made possible by Limor and her crew.
Please note we had her unpack us also you don’t need to use her for both .It is not in expensive but to me it was worth every dime having a personal move quarterback.

We had a great experience with Vancouver in the box, they came in the morning packed up a 3 bed plus house in 6 hours and off they went, No fuss, no issues and of course no hassles. This is the way to move. We are now busy unpacking and best of all… Nothing broken.
if you want to take out the fuss in moving and need an affordable packing option, this is the place to go.

Last minute booking, but wasn’t an issue at all. The two very friendly ladies arrived at my studio apartment on time and ready to get my gear packed up:) Done within 3 hours and I was ready to roll:)

This service ROCKS! Three people packed my entire 1-​bed apt in 5 hours — and packed it well — everything protected by recycled paper and/​or bubble wrap.
We also used Frogbox which makes it so easy also. I will never pack my own place again!
Limor, the owner, responds quickly by email or phone and has all the packing tips. Plus everyone in the moving industry seems to know of her service as well. Reasonably priced.
Try it. Youll never buy pizza and beer for your friends to do a half assed job again. (with apologies to the few friends who know how to pack well.)

We hired Vancouver in the Box at short notice — when I emailed, Limor immediately arranged to come over the next morning, review our condo and what we wanted done, and provide a quote. She checked in the day before that we were ready to go, arrived on time, and her team of two friendly, smart and efficient packers got to work (Limor supervised, left and then came back to help).
They did an excellent job, packed up a small but extremely well-​stocked 2brm in just over 5 hours, taking care with fragile items, flat screen TV, glassware, providing helpful suggestions and many supplies I didn’t have (I’d managed to get all the boxes off CL but VITB provided the packing paper, tape, etc at a cost). I had to leave early in the process, and came back later to 50+ boxes (with key slipped under the door), what a wonderful service :)
Limor gave me a quote and honoured it, even though they went a little over time (I knew that our place was deceptively full!). A few odds and ends like some spice bottles and trivia were left behind but just a minute to throw into a box and we were literally ready to move.
We are over the moon that we committed to the cost of hiring packers, and that we used Vancouver in the Box: we had to move during the week and having VITB come the day before the movers arrived meant that we didn’t have to spend the weekend or take time off work to pack, let alone stress about it, or be prepared to live with packed things for days/​weeks — so it was very easy to rationalise as well as budget the cost. I highly recommend Limor and her team.
