Triple O’s

It is unreal that this is the only choice offered at Science World! If you make the mistake of coming here around Noon you will be met with a line-​up that stretches out of the restaurant. Despite this line-​up you will see that there only 2 people taking orders behind the counter, argh.
The food is nothing special– a small step-​up from a typical fast food joint.
The only good thing I can say is that it is really clean in here. There are several employees walking around constantly spraying down tables and sweeping the floor. They should put the same effort into taking orders and getting that line moving.

Wow. I am surprised Science World leases them the space. Here’s what sucks about this place:
Service is painfully slow considering it’s set up like a fast food joint. Even the most inept McDonald’s is ten times faster. They had no pen to sign the credit card slip with so the cashier gave me a ½inch old crayon to sign with– WTH?!?
Food took forever to be ready, yet it was COLD when we finally got it. The reason for this? The girl putting the orders together from the order screen was also painfully slow and inept. My kids’ food was sitting on top of the slide thru counter… for three minutes before I asked her if that was my order. Frustrating.
The quality of the food is school cafeteria, or worse. My 5 year old wouldn’t eat her hit dog– she loves hot dogs.
The entire stafff looked to be in their late teens/​early twenties, and epically bored.
We will NEVER eat here when we bring the kids to Science World again.

This is the worst «restaurant» I have ever experienced in the triple o franchis.
The staff were slow, half of them could be seen having a food fight in the back kitchen or just standing around, the restaurant itself was filthy, juice spilled everywhere, sticky stuff everywhere, garbage everywhere.
What exactly were the 8+ staff members I counted doing?
I also ordered coffee… first the staff member prepared the wrong size, when I corrected her, she simply dumped the smaller size into a larger cup and handed it to me… HOW IS THIS THE ONLY PLACE TO EAT AT SCIENCE WORLD?
This experience was so bad it almost put me off the entire trip. I will NEVER eat here again. The manager should seriously review policies and staff.

This is the only place to eat at if you’re at Science World (other than the snack place and vending machines that have no substantial food items). I went on a day that was busier than usual due to the 25 year anniversary special. Even when having a late lunch (2:30−3 pm), there was a huge line up to order. We waited for about 30 mins, I would say. No wonder — there were two cashiers open. When we finally arrived at the cashier, they told us it would be about another 15 mins for the food to come, is that okay? Well sure, thanks for letting us know after the 30 min wait, so helpful.
The cashier was not friendly and did not smile one time. Took our order and that’s it. Pretty bad service.
The food took a bit more than 15 min. I ordered some really fatty items. After eating it I felt really nasty, kind of like how I feel after eating McDonald’s. The spicy chicken poutine was pretty loaded though, to be fair, with tons of bacon and cheese and gravy. The chicken was mostly fried bits and not much breast, despite what the advertisement said. Anyway, still tasty.
The restaurant seating was quite dirty. Food on the floor, sticky floor, junk on the tables.
I think this location could really work on its service, speed, and cleanliness. The one at Ubc is better as it is prepared for lots of customers at peak times. This place not so much. I think next time I go to Science World (probably in 10 years), I will pack a lunch, and I would suggest the same for others. Alternatively there is also a McDonald’s across the road. Haha

Ordered Kids ‘pizza’ combo and Kids ‘chicken strip’ combo. Could not believe how the pizza looked horrible and tasted awful. Pizza was something like microwaved whole wheat flatbread with tomato sauce and sprinkles of cheese. 2 pieces of kids meal chicken strips were different from regular chicken strips. Flat and dry.

Great burgers and the best spicy chicken burger anywhere. Good ol comfort food at its best. solid 4 stars!

Located inside Science World, I didn’t realize this was a chain. Not an extensive menu but we ordered a hot dog for son and I wanted to try the chipotle sweet potato fries. These were really really good. I didnt see anything else on the menu that was unique or anything that I wanted to try. I would recommend this if you like sweet potato fries. They’re not greasy and very flavorful!

Can’t go wrong with a double double if you are starving! the yam fries are awesome too.
Great place to get a quick burger at a gas station. lol. take it to go or eating in is fine too. the location on grandview highway near boundary is pretty good too. they made it feel like a true restaurant.
