The UPS Store

Despite being my first visit last week, I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful Mickey (the owner) was. She went above and beyond to accommodate my urgent printing needs. I could tell Mickey genuinely cares about her customers.
This store will be my go-​to place for future printing services.

No idea what the other reviewers are talking about. I’ve been to this location 5 times (My office is 2 blocks away) and I’ve always received friendly service with a smile. Other customers who were ahead of me in line seemed to be happy too

I didn’t think I would ever write a review for a UPS store.
I usually just go in to ship something and leave, nothing special.
I am working in a new part of town so this was my first time at this location and the lady that served me (I think she was the owner) was so nice that I decided to leave this review.
Great and efficient service, super friendly!
I’ve been shipping packages at many USP store across the province for a while and she was the first one to inform me that I could collect Areoplan points on my shipping charges, which I did. Thanks!

Use this store at your own risk. When asking for a business mailbox, a person identifying herself as the owner/​manager stared at me for a disturbingly long time, saying absolutely nothing, so long in fact that I turned to walk out the door when a clerk politely stepped over to assist. He was very helpful, but after the three of us (the clerk, the owner and me) agreed on terms for the box, the manager then began changing those terms right when she asked me to sign the contract. I was ready to walk out again when she recommitted to the original agreement, but guess what happened then? She didn’t have keys and didn’t bother to tell me until after I had signed and paid $ 300+. She then said that she might get them in a week or two. So, she wanted me to be without after-​hours box access for one or two weeks even though I had paid for full access (her perspective was that if I came while they were open, then I should be able to get mail). I told her to forget the deal, cancel the contract, because I couldn’t wait 1 – 2 weeks since I travel a lot and need to have access to office mail whenever I get back in town whether or not they are open. She then committed to having the keys by Tuesday, three business days later. As you might guess, Tuesday came and there were no keys. When I asked why there were no keys, she replied: «I forgot.» Things went downhill from there, too many things to detail in this review. I’ve never encountered such ridiculously bad service at any other UPS location; in fact, my experiences at other stores have been nothing but good. In the end, there was no choice but to cancel the postbox four business days after signing. So, what could go wrong now? «You cannot cancel,» Mickey Wang, the store manager, told me this morning (dealing with her was so bizarre that I brought a witness along on this visit). I had to call UPS Corporate and they got the Regional Office to phone Ms Wang to explain to her that customers can indeed cancel services like post boxes. This took nearly 30 minutes and involved more silliness from Ms Wang which I won’t get into here. In the end, I lost $ 300+ since contract says «no refunds”-it’s a contract, I accept that. Corporate UPS was great and handled the issue as quickly as could be expected. All said, use UPS Store 501’s services at your own risk.

Solid 3.5 stars. Recently opened in past year in this up and coming area of Olympic Village.
I’ve come by occasionally for the odd copies, not yet for shipping as I should, they offer 20% after first 5 shipments. Like how they offer a loyalty card.
Social media savvy too, like them on Facebook for additional discounts and offers.
