Amazing coffee and the décor is fabulous! I was there everyday for an event at the Chinese Cultural Centre and now have gone out of my way to go back a few times!

Ambiance in this place is very nice, the music was very pleasant as well. Even the washrooms are well decorated. They also are kid friendly with an available high chair. That being said, the coffee and sandwiches are pretty bland. Will do the job and nothing more. The service was adequate.

Based on all 3 times I’ve been here, I am very unimpressed. Although serving 49th parallel and having a brand new awesome espresso machine, their espresso based drinks are sub par. The service is almost non existent and rather unpleasant. It feels like I am an inconvenience to them for ordering something. I am passionate about cycling and sports in general. The concept is great and I haven’t visited their original location in the back alley off Burrard street, maybe I should?

I will start off with a disclaimer: I work next door to Musette Caffe Chinatown and pick up coffee/food for meetings almost everyday. I’ve gotten to know the staff and owners really well because of this and their care for helping me get ready for meetings is definitely appreciated. They ALWAYS ask me how my day is going and/or give me a fist bump when I walk in. Why I go to places regularly is for everyday experiences like this. I’ve tried almost everything on their food menu and I haven’t not liked anything. Their salami sandwiches and tomato bocconcini sandwiches are my go-to quick lunches. In the office, the himalayan pink salted chocolate chip cookies always disappear.

Came here this week for a sit down with a friend of mine. There is a charm and character to this place without going too overboard. They have food that is actually compatible with my dietary needs which is a rarity. Chia cereal with vegan milk sweetened with Stevia… prepared EXACTLY how I do it at home. The chili broth was thin, however, filling with all the beans. The customer service was awesome and friendly. Prices were fair. Seating is limited, however, didn’t have issues during the rush. They even have a gluten free chocolate chip cookie with pink Himalayan salt on top.

Good strong Parallel 49 coffee. Scone and canoli were fairly good. Service fine but not exactly enthused. Décor definitely cool cycling theme and nice washroom!

I’m a second time visitor from the states to vancouver. This time I visited the corners of sun yat sen classical garden. After wandering out, I noticed this coffee shop. Took my family here for an afternoon coffee fix. Little did I know the exterior and interior were cool, but the coffee was actually just alright. We ordered multiple skinny lattes. For 1, the milk was burned and the milk was too hot. There’s a temperature threshold that after it’s reached an expresso does not really fit to my liking. For 2, the barista I had must have been new since she took over 20 minutes to make 1 americano and 4 lattes. I got wifi and checked in. I would have gone to a different one.

I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for the last month or so to grab my morning extra sweet vanilla latte. Oh god, it’s like my morning wake up call. I choose this place over starbucks(which i usually go to. I even have a starbucks gold card) because one it’s closer to my office and two I love how foamy they make my coffee. This place was introduced to me by my coworker who never really drank coffee in the past but now she’s addicted. haha. The staff here are very friendly. I believe they remember me by now if my extra sweet vanilla latte. A former starbucks partner works here now. Making this place my go to coffee shop when I have work. I’ve also tried out their bake goods as well. The apple tart look-a-like is really good and really filling. I would totally suggest people to try it out. Why I won’t be giving this place a full 5 star rating is because I believe there is room for improvement. Such as having better trained staff, more variety of bake goods(I believe they may only have a little more than a half full of choices) and stronger coffee for a large size(I believe they just add in more milk for a large compare to a regular size latte. Well that’s what it taste like). Asides from all this, it’s a really nice place to try out. They also have a stamp card. Buy 10 and get one coffee for free.

Amazing gluten free selection, almond and soy milk options, daily soups, and juices. Plus it’s just a great space!

Nice addition to the neighborhood! Excellent quality local espresso, yummy pastries. They’re fresh for a change unlike some of the chains in the hood. Drop in for a quick jump start, or stay for the casual European atmosphere.

This is a cute, cyclist themed café on Pender in Chinatown that serves Parallel 49. If you’re a fan of their stuff, this is a great place to go. It’s good a nice atmosphere for reading a Sunday paper with a coffee, and they have a nice looking selection of pastries. Would stop by again if in the neighborhood!

I have to say I stop by because the lovely name. Also a musette mean a small bag used to pass meals to cyclists during a bicycle race. Make sense as the location is all about bicycle and riders. Even if I am not one, I really enjoyed their latte. The foam was perfect and SO creamy. I might stop by for an another latte for to go. The place is well decorated but the service was Ok(it was two gals). One more thing is… I LOVE the fact they have their own coffee sleeve with their name(MUSETTECAFFE) on-it. I like little touched like this. It’s an extra expense $$$ for the owner for sure. For me little detail like this mean a passionate and professional owner. All the best Musette Caffe!

A java gusto stop for bikes and riders… Quote: Our passion is not«all about the bike», but the perfect espresso or drip” Unquote. Flat screen tvs with the latest bike races and events, cool vintage and hard to find bikes and frames on every wall … These guys are all about chillin and chatting. Serving 49th Parallel coffees espresso and a beer bar with series bike handle bars mounted across the bar featuring beers in bottle and tap. Traditional Italian Paninis., soups and kitchen treats are expected shortly. Super friendly and cozy in the heart of Chinatown across from Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Gardens. Newly opened in the old Everything Café space.
