The Food Post

I love the Food Post!
It’s so easy to miss but it’s a life saver. Keep in mind, it’s only a life saver until 10pm though. Then you have to carry your disappointed self up one more block to the sketchy 7-​Eleven that smells like stale hot dog buns. The Food Post looks super small but once you go inside it’s huge!
They have everything, including two different coolers for ice cream. I love ice cream… They even have those giant original freezies that you know you miss and want. Yes, they even have the blue and white ones!
Pretty much just image a non-​trashy 7-​Eleven with way more stuff in it. You can get your basic snack items as well as some more substantial food. There are no «to go» taquitos, and thank god. I think they might be the reason I gag when I go to that unmentionable 24 mega giant.
And as if I wasn’t impressed enough with the Spiderman shaped frozen treats, they also have a post office in the back. Convenience central for sure.
The only reason 7-​Eleven would win over this West End gem is that 7-​Eleven has slurpees, and I admit, yum to those. But Spiderman? Come on! Awesome.
Plus to top it off, their really friendly here!
If you live in the area and it’s before 10pm, this place is a must know!
