History
Established in 2012.
«Really, it’s just about celebrating vegetables,» says Shira Blustein, Owner of the Acorn, a charming restaurant on Main Street in Vancouver. Within months of opening, Blustein and devoted vegetarians, have gracefully dodged the common pitfalls and stereotypes associated with meatless eaters, forging a hot spot for even the most carnivorous diners.
It’s easy for non-vegetarians to forget that what they’re eating might actually be nourishing, because most everything is visually alluring and, more important, delicious. We want the vegetarian to be incidental.
