Experience Tao Shiatsu Therapy, a holistic healing method based on traditional Eastern medicine, that stimulates the self-healing ability of the patient’s body, mind, heart, and spirit. This natural healing method was developed in Japan by Japanese Master Ryokyu Endo, with significant theoretical and practical developments beyond previous shiatsu massage methods. Tao Shiatsu has now spread throughout the world.
As it is rooted in Eastern medicine, Tao Shiatsu therapy focuses on Ki, (気) the universal life energy that flows through, connects, and harmonizes all living beings. Healthy Ki is light, moving, and flexible. Many people experience the discouraging cycle of temporary relief after bodywork treatment. The bottom of your heart does not want temporary relief. Tao Shiatsu Therapy provides permanent relief of your symptoms. Even chronic symptoms can be eliminated through Tao Shiatsu, a treatment that you can accept and understand from the bottom of your heart.

Meet the Business Owner
Mia W.
Business Owner
I was born in Japan, but travelled extensively before choosing to make Vancouver my home.
I studied at the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy and graduated in 2007. After being given a book about Tao Shiatsu from a friend, I was inspired to further my learning by studying with Endo Sensei in Kyoto. When I returned to Canada, I continued studying Tao Shiatsu in Montréal and Toronto. The path of the Tao is a life-long committment to learning, and am currently furthering my studies in Level II.
I am a registered Shiatsupractor in British Columbia with the Canadian Shiatsu Society of BC, and as a Tao Shiatsu Level I Practioner with the International Tao Shiatsu Society.
As a Tao Shiatsu Therapist, I am committed to my patients and my practice, continuing my studies, and offering treatments to an international clientele in Vancouver and Japan.
