Susan Baker became fascinated with the textiles of different countries while studying architecture in Japan just over three decades ago. Since then, she has opened a traditional textile workshop in Istanbul and this store, Atelier Istanbul on Granville Island in Vancouver. The woven textiles are something to behold, with beautiful traditional Turkish designs and colours, these pieces will add some international flair to your home. Along with unique textiles, Atelier Istanbul carries imported items from Turkey. The standouts are certainly the gorgeous and unique embroidered boots and shoes. The footwear is all one-of-a-kind and features embroidered flowers and other such designs. The imported jewellery is fantastically unique and interesting as well. This is a great place to come for one of a kind, exotic items.
