BEST place to buy souvenirs in Vancouver. I expected the Canada Place location to mean crazy high prices, but I found just the opposite. I was able to pick up most of my Canadian trinkets in this one little store. The variety is impressive, too.

Was visiting from California & staying in a nearby hotel. We walked into their Canada Place location on 2 separate occasions. Both times we were the only customers in the store, and both times the staff completely ignored us & had a frown on their faces like they did not want to be there. On our second visit, my wife questioned the size of a shirt and was given an unfriendly and WRONG answer! The sad part of all this is we had planned to buy all our Vancouver souvenirs this evening at one time for our convenience, but with the negative attitudes these 2 women showed, I would advise anyone visiting Vancouver to do your souvenir shopping elsewhere.

Looking for some maple syrup? It how about some magnets or even animal shaped pens. This is the place to go. It’s right on the waterfront by the convention centre next door to Subway. It’s a small but organized bright store. They have tons of souvenirs for you to buy. They have smoked salmon, tshirts, maple cookies… your basic Vancouver take home items. The prices are about the same as other souvenir stores. My favorite souvenirs are the cute little furry keychains and magnets. Make sure you get little bear with a Canada flag scarf or sweater!

I have been in here a few times, they carry the same stock as the other stores in Gastown. If you’re a tourist reading this just hold off until you get to Gastown where there are rows of the stores. The prices here, in spite the area seem within the margin of the cost of all the other stores. It is well organized with a small assortment of stock. It does have the basics of what you need to take home. Customer service and tourist friendly.
