Smile Center on Main 41 is a really warm welcoming clinic. I feel very special every time when I call them or walk in, Kitty the receptionist knows me and she is always so friendly and sweet to catch up with you.
Dr. Cecilia Ng has been taking really good care of my teeth from basic cleaning to recommendations with dealing with wisdom teeth and has changed my habits of how I take care of my own teeth.
I thank this team not just for their excellent service but also as a student they have helped me to fully use my dental benefits from school.

I been in this clinic with Dr. Cecilia Ng since 2008, and I couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for her very good knowledge, she’s been looking for me very well. Kitty is very good in reminding my appointment and always, doing me a favor whenever I wont able to show up on my appointment. Amy my hygienist, she done so many things for me, I will recommend her to everyone out their whose looking for one.
I would like to point out also that I have a mouth guard from Dr. Ng, she found out that my teeth is not align, and she’s telling to have a mouth guard to help my teeth not pushing each other too much. And above all it will protect me when playing sports, and doing work out. If your working out, you try to push more weight and more repetition. Not knowing your using your teeth at the same time! And for having the mouth guard, it gives you extra help.
All in all would like to say I’m very happy and satisfy (as always) knowing Dr. Ng and her passionate team to everyone whose looking for a dentist. So far since 2008 I think I have 4 friends or more, that I told them to have Dr. Cecilia Ng’s team to help them in their dental life. And for sure they bring some friends and family member as well.

Dr Ng takes such good care of me and my teeth! They charge directly to my insurance — I started going there as a Langara student — and Dr Ng has been merciful to my pocketbook a few times as well by recommending less expensive treatments. I’m always in and out very efficiently and the receptionist, Kitty, remembers me every time I go! She’s so friendly and sweet and makes me feel special and known.

I love Dr. Ng. She invests personal time on high quality continuing education. Dr Ng is caring and compassionate she shares her knowledge with patients and always is trying to do what is best for them. I definitely trust her and consider her very knowledgeable.

So far I’m very happy with this clinic. I’ve been there for several cleanings and Dr. Cecilia Ng is the first dentist I’ve ever had who I felt really, really checked out my mouth; it was like she was trying to climb into my mouth with her hands! But it was great because she was very thorough; examining my jaw, bite, etc. She might be a little bit eager to sell procedures or devices that aren’t absolutely necessary but when I declined, the staff were not pushy. In fact the technicians and receptionist, not to mention the dentist, have always been incredibly friendly and helpful.

Dr. Cecilia Ng told me that I had more issues than a chipped tooth and that my jaw was underdeveloped. I was still open to her ideas until she performed a balance test on me. This is the same test used by companies like Amway to sell water and Power Balance to sell bracelets. She got me to hold a pen sideways by biting down on it with my teeth. I stood on one foot (right) with my left arm extended. She applied a little downward pressure to the top of my hand; I was able to keep balance. The same test was done without the pen in my mouth, but I lost balance this time. This trick is done very easily by applying a slight press pressure pulling your arm away from your body insead of pushing towards your body. This balance test is a very deceptive means to sell. To perform this balance test successfully time and time again, you must know you are trying to deceive. I will not be going back; my family will also be changing dentists, and I would recommend for everyone to take their business elsewhere.
