I’ve actually been here a few times. I am really impressed with the organization of the store and how everything is laid out. Very good pieces and selections. The owner can be hit and miss, however, most of the time is pleasant enough.

I recently moved to a new place and I am on a tight budget, but I wanted to decorate with inexpensive, solid peices, this was one of the places I checked out and wasn’t disapointed. I found a funky little dresser, covered it in distressed blue paint, for a Parisian feel. Beautiful. If your looking for a treasure to mix in with your modern style. This is the place, so much to chose from, have fun shopping.

A lot of antique stores are either junk pile/yard sales or extremely expensive and overpriced high end items for hard core collectors. Second time around is neither of these extremes and contains a lot of items I both love and can afford.

Very disappointing after-sales service and overall attitude. Surprising actually, because the owner was so nice when we were buying things… Whatever you do DONOT try to return anything(even close to purchase date). We did and were very frustrated by the attitude of the owner. It was a total reversal compared to when we were buying things and everything at that time was hunky-dory; all smiles and pleasantries… In the end she(T, the owner) grudgingly gave us a store credit. She failed to mention that it expired in 90 days… although that was in print on the credit note. Second Time Around would be better advised to give customers, especially good ones, more latitude if for any reason the antique they buy needs to be returned immediately. …Overall, not a great experience at Second Time Around.

Isn’t it true that some things are just better a second time around? If you need a delicious day of perusing without shopping, you know those days when you just want to be outside but not really do much, then I would recommend going here. There is a charming and mysterious quality about older pieces of crafted furniture and antiques which I love and you can find a giant selection of tables, chairs, bookends, lamps, chaises and other pieces you may want to pick and decorate your house with.

I love old wooden furniture and there is plenty of it at Second Time Around Antiques. The store is huge and the place is jammed packed with antique pieces. My favourites are the old wooden storage benches and I saw several. In addition to the great furniture, they also have some gorgeous stained glass windows and lamps. I look forward to browsing here on a regular basis.

This store is most certainly straight from a dream of mine. The heady aroma of wood and dust and subsequent nostalgia to a time when I didn’t even exist, is something that is truly hard to replicate in words. In short, I live for the romance and mystery of antique stores, especially amazing 8,000 square foot antique stores. Second Time Around Antiques is the largest of the stores amongst Main Street’s ‘Antique Row’ Its sheer size and the number of pieces is something to behold, only enhanced by the quality and array of incredibly gorgeous and unique pieces from varying eras in time. I revere beautiful antique furniture in the same way I do a really beautiful pair of shoes, my weaknesses! The couple running the shop when I went in were so pleasant and helpful that I know I will return again and again, if only to indulge in the eye candy that is Second Time Around Antiques.
