Poised at the highest point in the city, Seasons in the Park offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city skyline and the North Shore Mountains, while nestled in the lush greenery of Queen Elizabeth Park, earning the title of ‘Most Romantic Restaurant’ two years in a row.

Perfect for all occasions, Seasons offers exceptional service and fresh, West Coast cuisine. Relaxed à la carte dining is perfect for visitors and locals alike, and Seasons also has three private rooms to accommodate any event or group size.

The partially covered outdoor patio is open all year round and fully equipped with overhead heaters and fireplaces. Curl up with a blanket during the winter, or soak in the sunshine all summer long while taking in one of Vancouver’s most spectacular views.

Relax in the casual yet sophisticated Winebar, where you can enjoy a glass of wine, a bite to eat, and check out the open kitchen featuring a pizza oven & wood fired grill.

History

Established in 1989.

Dating back to 1912, the area that is now Seasons in the Park was originally a rock quarry that provided the foundations for many of Vancouver’s first homes and buildings. The park is an extinct volcano, originally nicknamed Little Mountain by early Vancouverites, but following a visit from King George IV and Queen Elizabeth in 1939, the name was changed to Queen Elizabeth Park.

In 1968, the Bollman Family opened the Quarry House Restaurant, which was in operation until 1988. Brent Davies then took over the lease from the Quarry House and began extensive renovations, eventually opening Seasons in the Park on April 15th, 1989.

In 1993, Bill Clinton and Boris Yeltsin hosted the Russian/American Summit dinner at Seasons in the Park, and Bill Clinton’s personal Thank You card to Brent Davies is framed and hung in the restaurant today.
