Our healthy cooking classes make ‘eating well’ fun, practical, informed and delicious.
Classes are educational, with a focus on nutrition and include hands-on as well as tasting. Most classes are plant-focused and free of common allergens.
History
Established in 2010.
Created by Holistic Nutritionist and Chef Andrea Potter, Rooted Nutrition offers healthy cooking classes, nutrition talks and demos for your group, business or organization. Also, keep an eye out for our public cooking classes, offered around Vancouver including at our beautiful demo kitchen in Kitslano.
Meet the Business Owner
Andrea P.
Business Owner
Andrea is a Holistic Nutritionist and Red Seal Chef. She is passionate about whole, vibrant and nourishing food. She transitioned from cooking in fine-dining and whole-foods restaurants to teaching cooking classes in 2010, to connect with home cooks and inspire them to choose beautiful, organic ingredients and prepare them with love. She teaches culinary nutrition classes at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as well as the Northwest Culinary academy, and offers classes to numerous local community groups.
She loves shopping at farmer’s markets, enjoying Vancouver’s natural beauty on hikes and riding her bike.
