Riya Sweets & Snacks does not make samosa chaat, but they carry samosas, a variety of ladoos and good selection of vegetarian foods on a takeout basis. It’s cooked just like the authentic Indian stuff.
Ohhh wait, it is the real deal… rasam, dal makni, chana, palak paneer, curry aloo, kofta in spicy sauce, eggplant curry, mixed vegetable curry, peas & mushrooms in cream sauce and whatever else… Maybe the menu changes, but that stuff was there when I was visiting them. And maybe this meal was too spicy for me, but it’s mild. Thank goodness it came with rice too. Still, I need water. Maybe lassi. Did I forget to get some jalabee?
Request a little or a lot. Cater if you must. Or be lazy some weekends and indulge. Good people. Great prices. Nice food.
