History
Established in 1992.
Rice’N Spice was established in 1992 in the Carlyle Food Court in downtown Vancouver. Starting with a menu consisting of only a several dishes from Sri-Lanka, our family run restaurant quickly grew to having one of the richest combinations of meat and vegetable dishes in the city, expanding the original tastes of Sri-Lanka curries with Mediterranean and South East Asian flavors. In 2003, we moved to the Royal Centre Food Court and quickly became famous for our long line-ups and our commitment for consistent, fresh and healthy foods. We grind and mix our own spices to make sure that they are pure and fresh. We also do not use any food preservatives or M.S.G. in our curries and our meats are cut extra lean and slow cooked for tender and flavorful results.
