Having walked by several times on my way to the Whip, usually in the evening, I pondered the wonders that lay behind those after-hours-closed-iron-gates. Gorgeous tables, sculptures — art. Well, everything looks like a work of art here! These are the moments when I wish I had a large loft or house with wall space a plenty! Maybe then I could add to my Asian art collection which currently consists of one smiling Buddha. I was excited to learn that the art on the walls were from local artists and that they provide opportunities for emerging artists to display their works for specific exhibits. How cool!

Where can you find one-of-a-kind Asian themed art and very unique statement pieces for your home? Here just as the SOMA strip begins on Main St. When I first walked in, I could hardly believe that they were selling a tree — yes a stump — made by a local artist and it was costly, $ 2500, but oh-so-cool. In addition to the tree and probably more notable is the wide selection of Asian inspired marble tables, carved sculptures, vases, standstone lamps, chess boards, wall décor and the list goes on and on. What is more amazing is that they can make any painting you want digitally. They’ve decorated some one of the best restaurants in Vancouver like Goldfish Pacific Kitchen and some other Asian restaurants.
