History

Established in 2006.

Radec Building Supply, Inc. was officially incorporated in 2006; however, Joe Walters, the company’s founder has been working in the building field for many years, both as a building contractor, and as a building inspector and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) specialist.

Over the past few years, the world has been more focused than ever on the issues of global warming, climate change and environmental responsibility. In the Building industry, we’ve seen the emergence of many Green Building rating systems, stricter building regulations, and the development of new, environmentally better building products.

Radec Building Supply emerged out of this new eco-​consciousness. While many business now offer green building options, Radec wanted to provide a 1-​stop shopping experience, where customers could get the green building products and services they need, from trained experts willing to go the extra mile.
