All the guitars are locked up. Sales people aren’t helpful. Walked in here another time to get a guitar repaired. Clerk was rude and dismissive. Too many other places out there. Don’t shop here.

Would advise any serious guitar player to AVOID having their axe repaired or serviced here. I trusted them with 2 of my best and the errors were blatant. Then when I complained for having put out over $ 300 for this, the attitude was basically don’t come back because we aren’t doing guitar repairs anymore and our(guitar tech :) is fully booked up and oh yeah it might rain tomorrow too. No accountability, no attention to detail, no more business from me and hopefully you too once you have read this.

Very good experience at Prussin music today! I was going to get my clarinet maintained for the next year and everyone was very knowledgeable. I talked with Andrew(the clarinet specialist) and he was extremely helpful and kind to me. He said that he is going to do an oiling and a full adjustment for my clarinet. The total price today was $ 80 which was pretty good for a maintenance. Overall, I am pleased and I would recommend this place to my friends.

This is a nice little music store located in Vancouver. Their selection might be a little small but what they have is quality and excellent customer service. The store also provides private lessons as well. The tricky part about this location can be the parking as it is street parking only here.

Small mom and pop instrument shop that has a decent selection of items for the size. I come here just for pics and strings. Decent price and customer service is okay.

DONOTRENTINSTRUMENTSFROMPRUSSINMUSIC!!! I rented my daughter a flute for high school. I was offered the insurance option of $ 3 a month — no details were provided. Fast forward three months my daughter has lost the flute and we are now paying $ 540 the full value of a used flute and the insurance only covers THEFT. I’m choked and really disappointed with their policy. Will not be doing business with them EVER again.

I bought my first ukulele here with the help of a very nice guy. I don’t know his name but he is very helpful and he knows the instrument really well. And I went in the store on Sunday 4:40pm, feel so good to get what I want with such a great experience. Thank you so much.

The folks at Prussin have a rare blend of sober service and warm-hearted helpfulness. The store features two levels: classical instruments and the service counter upstairs, and a basement room of guitars downstairs. I’ve received good recommendations here on cello lessons and also a thorough investigation into which type of soft-shell guitar case my friend should buy. On yet another visit, we’ve also been tipped off to good independent shows in town. All around, Prussin plays the chameleon and adapts its service to meet the needs of its customers. Bravo!
