Pomegranate Spa

I’ve come to see Connie for years from back when she was at the previous spa to now that she has her own shop.
I’ve also seen Simin and must admit the professional and friendly service these ladies provide is hard to come by.
The salon itself is simple, contemporary and super clean. There is always beautiful music playing, making the experience much more relaxing.
Reasonable prices for an excellent service!

I have been going here for 2 years now. Connie saved my bad eyebrows and now I will only go to her.

I have been going to Connie for over 6 years now and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for a wax. She is the best in the lower mainland! Her calm demeanor makes you feel comfortable and she never misses a spot. She is definitely worth the 45 minute drive it takes me to get there.

This place totally won me over!
During my first visit to Pomegranate, I saw Connie for a brazilian and eyebrow wax. She was totally professional and did great work. The prices were fantastic at $ 35 + $ 15 for the two services.
Compared to waxes at other establishments, her technique minimized the pain, and I had better, longer lasting results. I never felt like she was rushing through because she took breaks to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed, and to ensure thoroughness.
In subsequent visits I’ve ended up seeing Simin more regularly, and she is equally great.
I learned that the spa is owned by Connie and Simin, and they are the only employees. They are both veteran estheticians, and opened their own business after many years as employees in the industry.
That’s right — if you go here, you will either have Connie or Simin, not an hourly employee.
This is kind of amazing when you think about how challenging it can be to find places in the beauty industry with ethical employment practices. (I think we’ve all wondered how much the person doing our ‘cheap pedicure’ is actually getting paid.) At Pomegranate, you can feel good knowing that you are supporting the women who are actually doing the work.
The spa has a relaxing modern environment, and the treatment room was comfortable and clean.
After a couple of years at different Kits waxing establishment, I’m going to Pomegranate from now on.

I have seen Simin for more than 6 years — she is efficient, knowledgeable and cares about how her clients look and feel with the results. I am always complemented on my eyebrows (threading!!).
Lots of 2 hour parking our front. I go here for Brazilian, full face and eyebrow threading, as well as glycolic application.

I’ve been going to see Connie for waxes for several months after being referred by a friend who has been a client of Connie’s for many years. She’s great, very professional, but also warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. I always feel comfortable and relaxed during my appointments.

I urge you all to visit Simin at Pomegranate Spa for the best waxing. She is so lightning quick you don’t have time to feel any pain. Simin used to be at Linda’s Urban Spa in Kits and decided to strike out on her own. I have been a client of her’s for 10 years. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for a brazilian wax. Simin does mine in 15 minutes!!! She is also skilled in eyebrow threading. I know she offers other services as well, such as facials, but I have never had a facial so I cannot comment.
