Love going here, no stress, nice phở. Not the best I’ve ever had but certainly my go-to this end of Hastings for late night dinners :) Staff/owners are lovely.

This place is fantastic. My girlfriend and I went there for the first time shortly after it opened up and we’ve been regulars ever since. The spring rolls are great, the lemon grass chicken isn’t any of the brown gristly stuff you get at a lot of cheap Phở spots, it’s a real chicken breast with amazing seasoning. What really makes this place our favourite spot for a late night snack is the people who run it. The family who owns it are also the full time staff. The first time we went, our complimentary dessert of grapes and orange slices was brought by their little son who insisted on delivering it to us himself, to see that the job was well done.

This restaurant truly deserves 5 stars. It is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious, and the quality is consistent. I regularly order the number 36(lemongrass chicken with vermicelli and a spring roll,) and it always hits the spot– the vermicelli is always perfect. As others have mentioned, the prices might be a dollar higher than some other local spots, but it’s totally worth it. The family that runs this restaurant are the sweetest people– they genuinely care about the neighbourhood and their customers. It’s always a joy to catch up with them and it’s really special when a small business make the effort to get to know their regulars so well.

Ive driven by so many times it was finally time to give it a try. Its on the same block as Mr Red and Vietnam house so it has its competition. Now as far as im concerned competition is great for phở. The more places on the block the better the phở. The place was empty when we entered. It was spotless like not a mark anywhere. It looked like its first day of business. It also looks like a deli. We entered the completely empty place and sat down uncomfortably. It was very quiet. The first thing I noticed about the menus was the prices. A little higher than anywhere else we had eaten phở. $ 9.00 for one size. I ordered bun bo hue and Maggie got rare beef and beef balls. There were two sauces on the table. chili sauce and hoisin. The soup came and the bowls were an average small. My bun bo hue was made with rice noodles which isn’t usual. The toppings were scant and not of great quality. The broth was lacking any depth. It tasted like lemon grass water and maybe a phở bouillon cube. Really. This was weak . The other bowl was identical. The noodles in both had been warmed and were soft. Nothing was going right here. I actually started to feel kinda sorry for the place. It was almost embarrassing. So we didn’t finish up and I went to pay. Now the menu says $ 9.00 for the phở but at the till I was charged $ 10. I thought whatever, tax. But then she added tax. I paid the bill. She didn’t have enough money in the till to give me change so I tipped the extra. At this time she said. really good eh. Only the best quality. tell your friends. So yeah, tell my friends. Its Ok. You cant run a place on this block for very long with this kind of product. The competition will kill you. Actually it looks like it already has…

Definitely one of the better phở places in town. Bao Chau and Le Petit Saigon have some serious competition. Parking is available on the street. The place is pretty much brand new as the building opened sometime in late 2015. The interior is brightly lit, and the furniture is trendy as well. The place seems to be run by a family. The parents run the place, while the kids help out. Having no idea what to try, my buddy and I had the Vietnamese omelette. This thing was HUGE. Filled to the brim with toppings, nice and crunchy egg«shell», and served with vegetables and fish sauce. This thing can easily feed 2 people. This is probably one of the best ones I’ve had in town. Special mention. I also had the Bun bo Hue. Nice spicy broth, plenty of green onion and onion bits. Meat had no gristle. Just thinking about this dish makes me drool. Pricing is a wee bit(maybe $ 1) more than the competition, but the quality is there. Here’s to hoping that the place maintains their standards. Lastly, they accept credit cards here. No way! I will definitely be back. Recommended.

I got chicken phở and it left me hungry and dissatisfied. There was no vegetables in the soup, the small amount chicken seemed like a poor cut and the broth was okay. I like phở a little spicy and there was no spicy oil. I will never go back.

This place just opened up over a month ago and is run by a really sweet Vietnamese couple. The lemongrass phở noodle soup and spring rolls are amazingly good! The broth was hot and perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Didn’t taste like msg either, though I should ask to confirm next time. Their vegetarian phở looks really good too and my partner really liked it. Also had a Bahn Mi which was good but the soups were the winners. The interior is very modern and clean and I can imagine their kitchen is very clean too, unlike some of the neighboring restuarants. There’s a lot of options when it comes to phở in the neighborhood but this one seems the cleanest, friendliest and also has great veggie options that the others lack. Highly recommend a try.

Best chicken phở I’ve ever had. BBQ meat is also delicious. The restaurant is small but very clean and cozy. Highly recommended!
