History

Established in 2011.

Founded in 2011 by Paul and Alexis, both professionals in various areas of education, including public education, vocational training, and English language training.

Pear Tree Education was created to provide all of Vancouver’s youth the opportunity to experience a 21^st century education that connects education to real life.

To achieve this, Pear Tree offers not only after-​school group classes at its beautiful, high-​tech learning centre, but also educational field trips and specialist workshops.

Paul R.

Business Owner

Paul has achieved tremendous success as an educational manager, teacher, and computer engineer.

Working for five years for a small computer firm, Paul achieved superb results in PC Magazine’s ‘Blockbuster Review’.

Since leaving England in 2001, he has taught in almost every type of educational institution, and has taught all age groups from elementary school to seniors.

Also, Paul has become a leading Course Director for UK summer language schools.
