Peake of Catering exceeded any expectations I had for our corporate event.
It’s always nerve-​wracking to choose a caterer, sight unseen, for a corporate event. Even harder in a foreign country. But you can’t go wrong with this company.
With the backdrop of the Sun Yat Sen Chinese Gardens, Peake’s menu choices and presentation brought the party to a level of sophistication and gastronomic nirvana unparalleled by previous companies.
From beginning to end, this is quite possibly one of the best caterers I have EVER had the pleasure to work with. The quality of the food, matched with its impeccable presentation, and genuinely warm and friendly staff made our corporate event a smashing success. If you have any occasion to seek their services, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.

I recently attended a Celebration of Life, catered by Peake of Catering and I have to say, it’s been awhile since the event but the food and service was so outstanding I felt compelled to write a review — good work should not go over looked!
I can only imagine being service staff at an event such as a celebration of life, takes astute professionalism as well as a compassionate attention to detail, which is exactly what the Peake of Catering staff provided at this event. They introduced the food, which was custom created to reflect the family favorites of my dear friend being celebrated. The food itself was amazing, beautifully presented and delicious.
I will definitely be contacting Peake for all my future catering need, both social and corporate.

I requested a quote for a small family friendly afternoon tea at the church for 70 people for small sandwiches and few appies 2 stand out along with crackers and fruit. We figured that this would be pretty simple and delicious options. I had to trust my instincts that this was not a good fit proposed items were list words and foods I could not even fully understand on both pages 2/​options are not going to appeal 2 family and older people 3/​always a red flag when a business has very few to no pictures to show with the work they have done. We went there to scope it out @ the office on main and felt it was pretty food for taste not actually food. ie a grape wrapped with a piece of salmon, that a finger sized scone with something in it, mint rounds that has a piece of mint on top. Yuck. Watercress, ballatone, crèviche something. strange and alien food to us. We decided to not choose them because they did not seem family friendly and went with truffles fine food. The menu is more transparent and pricing clear and most importantly u understand what you are buying and getting. They seemed to be able to offer more of what we wanted.

Our office had breakfast catered this morning for a meeting and I was impressed.
There were fruit and yogurt parfaits with granola, which I devoured in 3 seconds. The fruit skewers had strawberries, pineapple, cantelope, honeydew and watermelon. All the fruit were sweet and perfectly ripe. There were muffins, danishes and bagels. All tasted fresh baked and delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was their poppyseed muffin. It tasted a little too bitter for my palette.
This company was quick, professional and the food was beautifully presented.

Best Kept Secret is… they serve a $ 5 lunch every weekday. Its a HUGE amount of food and its well worth the cash. For example, today was veggie pasta, side salad w/​rasp. vin. and a fruit salad. Other lunches i have had from there are… pasta dishes, Hamburgers, fresh soup and salads, Fett. alfredo. the list goes on and on… You cant even go to the store and buy the stuff to make it yourself for any cheaper. It will sell out fast tho… Get there by noon-​ish or earlier. They are all really nice… i haven’t got anything from there that i didn’t like.

I recently went to a wedding catered by this company.
I had heard from the bride that this company would definitely cater to the few guests who have some extensive and severe allergies, so that was definitely a plus. These guests were given special plates (as the meal was buffet-​style).
I, unfortunately, don’t have much else positive to say about the food or service.
The food pretty lacklustre. The menu looked gorgeous, but in the end, the food was lukewarm, either very salty or bland, and the bread tasted day old.
On top of that, the bartenders simply didn’t know how to bartend. When asked if they could make a Long Island Ice Tea, her response was
«oh, we could, but we don’t have any ice tea». *face palm*
Also, she refused to make a caeser for us, insisting her partner do it, because she «didn’t want to screw it up». A blessed mistake, because he accidently make the caesar a triple, instead of a double.
I’m not very well versed in catering services, this was my first experience with a catered event. That being said, while lacklustre, the bride seemed very pleased about the allergy thing, and she seemed to have done quite a bit of research, so perhaps this place is a good choice for those with allergies.
