Specialties
High quality Audio and Video equipment not usually found elsewhere. We have top-rated Vacuum Tube amps from Prima Luna. In the music recording business, many recordings are made with one or more vacuum tube equipment because producers and musicians prefer the sound of vacuum tubes. We also carry solid state amps from Cambridge Audio and Quad. Find out the difference between solid state and vacuum tube amps by asking for a demonstration. We carry a range of high quality speakers of which, the Martin Logan and Quad speakers are the highlights. These speakers use a large but very light weight membrane to make sound instead of cones and domes. These speakers are rated by audio critics as the very finest available! Some of the other speakers we carry are round (Gallo) and come in different colors to match your décor. We also have speakers finished in beautiful lacquered piano black, rosewood, birds eye maple. Bring your favorite record or CD and enjoy the music in a relaxed atmosphere.
We specialize in the tuning and servicing of turn tables and amplifiers as well as multi-room audio solutions.

Meet the Business Owner
Pat T.
Business Owner
Pat has been giving advice on audio and video equipment ever since he was in high school. As a high school student, he worked part-time in an audio store in Chicago. Later, as a student of John Hopkins University, he also worked in a downtown Audio store and helped many friends find the right audio equipment. Pat met Matthew Polk (founder of Polk Audio) and Sandy Gross (founder of Definitive Technology and Golden Ear) during his studies at John Hopkins.
In Vancouver, Pat founded a specialty Hi-Fi store in 1974 at Kitsilano (Broadway and MacDonald). You guessed it: Polk Audio and Definitive Technology were sold there. Pat was the general manager there until 1999. For almost a decade, Pat worked for Sound Plus (Broadway and Ash) and championed many great products like McIntosh, Linn, and PMC. Pat worked for three years downtown at Hi-Fi Centre when Sound Plus closed the retail store. Pat felt that not enough great audio products were being offered and thus he founded Pat’s Audio Art.
