Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Elna Muñoz Johnson, BScKin, DC, CCSSC Resident M.

Business Owner

Dr. Elna Muñoz Johnson is a graduate of the University of British Columbia: Kinesiology; from the University of Western States: Doctor of Chiropractic; from McMaster University: Contemporary Medical Acupuncture; and is currently a Canadian College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Resident. In addition to her degrees, she is an Instructor and Certified Provider of Active Release Techniques (ART).

Dr. Muñoz Johnson’s extensive athletic background as a sprint hurdler and the numerous injuries she endured throughout that time, has led her to focus her career on sports injuries, prevention, treatment, and performance. She has worked with numerous professional athletes in the NFL, CFL, and NHL, as well as with athletes on various Provincial, National and Olympic Teams. She has also worked and consulted on various professional sports teams such as the BC Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Athletics Canada. She is presently the Chiropractor of the UBC Football and UBC Track & Field teams.
