I train at two locations, APT (as seen on the map) and the YWCA downtown Vancouver on hornby and dunsmuir. You are welcome to train with me there as a non member. I provide extensive fitness, posture, range of motion assessments before I wrote your complete workout program, and keep you accountable!

History

Established in 2006.

As a marathoner, cross Canada cylcer, hiker, heavy weight lifter, yogi, and health food nut, I know all about staying fit, healthy and active. Somewhere along the way I turned my passion into a career! I describe myself as a human body detective. As your Kinesiologist and personal trainer I get to use various testing and assessment procedures to determine your current ‘movement’ status. From there I use my creative programming skills to design workout programs. Then I use my ability to be your great coach to keep you motivated and having fun in the gym. I work with all ages and abilities. We start where you are at, and make progress! My goal is to create as many fit, healthy, happy bodies in Vancouver as I can. I know a healthy person is a happy person– and we can all use more happy in our lives– right? Let’s sit down and have a session and see if my training style is a good fit for you.

Business Owner

I have shadowed and interned with a variety of demographics, including elite athletes to youth. You will stand taller, feel stronger, be happier, and more confident working with me! I have been involved with group fitness classes for 3 years now and have experience teaching Cardio Kickbox, Step and Sculpt, Bootcamp, Skip and Sculpt, Core and Posture Fit, and Muscle Conditioning. I love the high intensity atmosphere of a group class, but prefer the one on one precision of small group training!

I have also worked for two years as a lifestyle consultant, as well as one year as a high school physical and health education teacher.

My certifications include the top level personal training certification in Canada (CSEP-​CPT), FMS (functional movement screens) to assess your body for the best exercises for YOU, Posture certified specialist training and Range of Motion assessment training.
