On Location Tours Vancouver

Loved Christine! We were visited Vancouver for the first time at the end of July 2012 and I hope it will not be our last.
I’m a Twilight fan and had seen videos posted by Christine on the Team Twilight website and had made my way to here website to read about her tours so when we decided to do a Pacific Northwest vacation, I knew I had to book a tour with Christine.
It was so worth it. She drove my husband and myself along with one other couple around in her nice, new van. She started with an overview of the main sights of downtown Vancouver and she shared a lot of good information about the city.
She also showed us the places where the various wrap parties were held as well as spots that celebs had been sighted eating out including Rob and Kristen. She then showed us a few Twilight filming locations in the city including Breaking Dawn Part 2 filming locations which I immediately recognized when I saw the movie. She also showed us some Fringe filming locations as we are both big Fringe fans.
She drove us through Stanley Park and then out of the city to the forest where the wooded scenes of New Moon were filmed. Then we went on to Jacob’s House since that is the only house still standing at this point. It looked just like in the movie so that was a great photo opportunity. We then went to Port Coquitlam where I immediately recognized the area where the part the Volturi watched and discussed the newborns in Eclipse as well as the area where Bella went to the movies with Jessica in New Moon and rode the motorcycle with the random guy. We took pictures with the movie theater exterior seen in New Moon, but the interior was of a completely different theater which was back in Vancouver. Christine told me the name so I was able to visit the Ridge Theater and sit in the same seats as Kristen and Taylor as well as sit on the steps where they spoke after the movie.
She also took us to other places like the film studios to show us where the sets were built for other scenes in the movies. She was an excellent tour guide and really nice. I would take a tour with her even if it was not a Twilight based tour. My husband agreed that her city tour would be great. It was really nice to get such personal service and to be able to ask her to stop anywhere so we could get out and take photos because there were only four of us.
My only complaint: When we stopped for lunch, it was at a joint Wendy’s and Tim Hortons. We had been at a Starbucks earlier to use the restroom and get coffee and I wish I would have known where we were eating lunch as I would have grabbed something to go from Starbucks. I’m not a fast food eater. I don’t do Wendy’s McDonald’s, etc. and I should have asked where we were stopping for lunch so it was partially my fault. Other than that, the tour was top notch and Christine was great!

It’s a whole day journey. Christine shares so much information, way more than I could remember, everything she promises on her website and more. — So bring your notebook to take notes! — There were 4 of us besides Christine, two Supernatural fans, one Twilight fan and her very supporting mother. The tour itself was a very good mixture of Supernatural, Twilight, and other (read: a lot of other) filming locations and anecdotes.
We went as far as Port Coquitlam. We covered Downtown Vancouver, Gastown, North Vancouver, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, and Burnaby. We had plenty of opportunities to get out and take pictures. We saw wonderful landscape, took a beautiful hike in the mountain, saw black bears peeking at us from the woods (when we were in the car), and went to a secret Twilight filming location. Even I thought it was cool without being an avid fan. The real Twilight fan girl among us was super excited. We also went to a Supernatural filming site but it was inside filming so we didn’t get to see the actors, but it was pretty interesting to see the trucks and vans and props. Christine picked up each of us and drove us back to where she picked us up at the end of the day.
About logistics and how to book:
I was by myself and emailed Christine, asking whether she could include me in one of her tours. From Unilocal I’ve learned that she specializes in Twilight, but I’m not a Twilight fan. Instead I asked whether she had anything that was focused on Supernatural. She emailed back fairly quickly, and offered me different dates where she would have tour groups, and reassured me that there were Supernatural locations on the tour as well. So if you are thinking about it, just contact her and she would let you know what she could offer. And she certainly live up to her promises!

We enjoyed our 6 hours with Christine showing us the movie and TV filming locations of Vancouver (and surrounding areas).
She specializes in Twilight but we specifically asked her for the (USA) television show called, Psych. She did a lot of homework to find out where various episodes had been filmed. She also found out where Psych was filming that day. We got to meet the stars and take photos with them. She does not guarantee this but we totally lucked out!
She picks you up at your hotel and takes you around in her minivan. As the previous reviewer noted, it was an awesome way to see and experience Vancouver.
We also enjoyed taking her out to lunch and chatting about movie /​film stars.
Christine is a true fan of popular culture and bringing the filming experience to you.

This tour takes you to many of the locations where «New Moon» was filmed in Vancouver.
We visited the Cullen House, Bella’s House, Jacob’s House, ‘Forks’ High School and Vancouver Film Studios. We also visited some popular locations in Gastown and Yaletown where the cast of the Twilight Saga like to hang out.
What I liked best about the tour is that you cover quite a distance of the greater Vancouver area. I felt like I was getting a thorough city tour as well as focusing on set locations.
It is possible to see and meet the cast of the movie on the tour, though not guaranteed. Christine is quite the investigator when it comes to finding locations.
All in all it’s fun just to see the country side and city from a local perspective, and take pictures of the locations you’ll recognize in the movie.
