Oh My Dog! Behaviour Training & Solutions offers group classes and private one on one training. Classes include basic obedience, specialty puppy group classes, advanced and intermediate obedience and PUPCLUB! a free monthly puppy social. Also newly installed is the huge one of a kind Oh My Dog Agility Park! Offering Agility for Fun! in the heart of Vancouver.

Basic training is without the use of food treats and only humane methods are used to achieve cooperation. Oh My Dog! Behaviour Training does not use choke chains, prong or electric shock collars, halties, yelling, scruffing or any other type of brut force or intimidation but rather the play/​praise reward system and positive reinforcement.

History

Established in 2009.

It was my lifelong love of dogs and training every dog on the block as a child that brought me to this point. I have always had dogs in my life and I wanted to help and make it easier for other people to share this incredible bond with their dog. Too many dogs end up in shelters because they are misunderstood and I wanted to show people how to build that loving and trusting bond and healthy working relationship without fear or anxiety producing techniques.

Business Owner

I was certified as a Professional Dog Trainer through the International College of Canine Behaviour Science in 2009. I am also certified in Pet First Aid and continue learning about dog behaviour through seminars and workshops, most recently with Nicole Wilde, Brenda Aloff, Dr Ian Dunbar and Ken Ramirez. Have also achieved certificates in Dog Emotion & Cognition and Animal Behaviour & Welfare.
