Mission

To experiencing heart and develop more living room.

To create a space where we can uncover connection to self and others and give ourselves permission to have more congruent, joyful, fluid, creative and compassionate bodies and minds (heart-full & intelligent bodies). It is my hope that through this we can gain ease in creating new possibilities and lightness in our lives, relationships, art and world. This is my act of resistance, revelation and revolution.

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa B. V.

Business Owner

Lisa has spent over a decade studying and facilitating play/movement/clown workshops and other body-based therapeutic practices. She is propelled by the desire to experience heart, connection, love and presence; to build congruence between body and mind. She has a Masters of Counselling and relies heavily on the physiological perspective found in Somatic Experiencing Therapy and emerging neuroscience as well as on the societal and cultural considerations that Narrative Therapy presents. She has studied, performed and apprenticed in the area of clown & theatre with both David MacMurray Smith (Vancouver) and John Turner (half of the Canadian Mump & Smoot duo), among others. She has taught, performed and facilitated internationally and throughout her work has looked for the intersections between various disciplines, desiring to find more space to play, de-stabilize and re-create the commonly considered ways of knowing and being as individuals and as a society.
