I usually try to stay away from fast food asian cuisines but this probably the most decent ones ive been to. As of late its been my go-to place when i dont pack a lunch to work. The chicken stir fry with salad and steamed pork and rice rolls is a hell of a deal for 8 bucks. For the price you pay its some pretty delicious food and the portions are very generous! Huge menu to choose from as well.

Probably one of the better asian cuisines at this food court. Their phở is nice. And their spring rolls are pretty good too. Don’t miss out on the drinks they have. Bubble slushy and Vietnamese coffee. Good stuff.

Continuing my series of «Review what’s in my office food court,» today we feature My Toan, a Vietnamese stand in the deep dark basement of Harbour Centre. There’s always a long line at lunchtime, but the staff have this down to a science, barking«next» at the order line, and providing handwritten numbers with your bill so they can call you up by number. Shining customer service this ain’t, but it’s efficient! My Toan has a typical food court menu of 8,000 combos. I did the meat spring roll dish, which consisted of one Vietnamese meat spring roll, vermicelli noodles, and salad. The picture seemed to suggest there were two sizes(one roll or two), for 3.50 or 6.75. What I found when I opened my to-go box is that it’s one roll all the time — and 6.75 gets you a meat as opposed to a vegetarian spring roll. Fair enough — 3.50 for a spring roll, noodles and salad would have been the deal of the century and earned them a 5 star rating. As it was, I was happy enough with my spring roll. Not *too* deep fried, but just crispy enough. A fair amount of noodles and a little salad. Not bad for a lunch under $ 8.

My Toan Please please tone done the salt level in the phở. The flavour and service are ok, but it’s so salty I can barely eat it. Please tone it down, people can always add more saltiness flavor later.

For a food court this place is decent. Their tofu sub, while not the best I’ve had, is tasty and tastes healthy too. I have also had their vegetarian spring rolls which are deep fried goodness!

This Vietnamese food court vendor has been opened in the new Harbour Centre food court for nearly half a year now I believe and I have been frequenting it recently. Their food isn’t amazing but you really get a good portion for your money. I’ve been here several times for lunch, and I usually spend around $ 7 to get very full. I normally don’t take the time to review food court vendors, but I wanted to post this because my coworker was complaining about how there aren’t many choices for Vietnamese or Phở in the gastown/coal harbour area. I feel like this is a very good option if you’re strapped for time and only have less than 20 minutes for a quick lunch. They are very generous with their plates and I believe their lemongrass chicken is probably the most popular item on the menu. You get a big portion of rice, two lemongrass chicken cutlets, a large deep fried spring roll and some salad. Recently though, I’ve been ordering their phở soup combo where you get a half sized bowl of phở plus a deep fried spring roll and salad. Anyways, I’ll be exploring the food court here for a bit so I might add more reviews later!
