I’ve never had my boots repaired before — I’ve been the type to just throw any boots away that were worn down and bought a new pair. This time, I’m gonna go ahead and try the repair route and get my $ 200+ boots repaired. To have the sole & heel replaced, it came to $ 75. As mentioned, I’ve never done this before but I thought it was a tad steep. But I already committed so I agreed and paid. They were ready to be picked up in 2 business days and so far, it’s been pretty good. The repair work was nice and clean. I will update this review in about 6-​months time (after the winter) with how the new sole is holding up.
The customer service was alright, nothing extraordinary.

The worst place ever for boot shine — my MKs looked as if they had been worn out in the rain when I picked them up! The black polish on toes and heels looked as if they spent less than 1 min per boot and the rest high tops were in even worse shape. The price was a premium and as I was able to do a decent job myself I felt they would look next to new for the close to $ 50 I spent to have them spiffed up. The manager informed me that the work was satisfactory to him so no help there. J
Just save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere

They are open 7 days a week so the hours are wrong on Unilocal.
I got my pair of louboutins a while ago and didn’t get the rest topy from the get go so when I brought it in, the bottom was in rough shape.
They put on the red topy for 31.50 after tax and I picked it up the next day. They were done very well and priced very fair for downtown! I had the side kind of scuffed too but they fixed that as well (guess it was part of the topy layering).
They’re quick and to the point. There are tons of shoes if you sneak a peek at the back and mostly are from Holt Renfrew.
I would come back for topy for sure!

Poor customer service — Asked basic questions about fixing up my shoes and purchasing products (ex for leather care) on two seperate occasions, and each time was just told «this is what we have». I have since found a better shop (beside Tim Hortons /​London Drugs in that plaza) that is much more helpful.

Ruined my daughter’s sandals by gluing the sole to the securement straps, then we had t fight to get them to put it right.
Used to be good when the owner operated it. Now, rude employee, when I asked to speak to manager, told me, «He not here.» When I asked when it would be a good time to talk to him: «I have no idea.»
Not my idea of customer service.
So I called the manager. When I told him about my experience with his rude and unhelpful employee, he got defensive and all but shouted me down with, «I can’t be in the store 24 hours a day! «
Never going back there.

Conveniently located at the base of Pacific Centre and reasonable prices (comparatively speaking), drop off your boots here and they will work their magic — I was able to pick mine up the next day, in less than 24 hours!
Customer service is definitely not their forte but if you need results fast, this is the place to go.

I wanted to like this place because their turnaround time is fast (1 – 2 days). However, their arrogant and unhelpful customer service and poor quality of work brings this place down. I got vibram rubber soles attached to my leather sole boots and they started peeling off after two weeks. The guys who work there act as they know everyting even though their expertise is quite shallow. When I asked about more advanced service they thought that polish will solve it. Obviously, it didn’t solve the problem at all. I could have done that myself. When I told them I don’t see a difference, the guy freaked out and stared polishing the shoes once again furiously. Bravo!

I had some nonslip material put on the soles of my brand new mens dress shoes, ready for the winter months. It was $ 57 total for the whole shoe (heel and front).
The service was prompt the guys were really nice. Workmanship seems spot on, I can’t really on comment on that after a few months wear and a winter though.
The price is definitely on the higher side, so I have my reservations till after I see how the soles last after winter

I have always been a bit of a procrastinator. I have definitely brought Moneyworth’s more than one pair of pumps that is worn down to the pin, or a pair of boots where the heel is rubbed nearly clean off in places.
Each time I approach their counter with shame, but am pleasantly surprised by the results. I have yet to bring them a heel they couldn’t mend, and for around $ 20 they clean and polish them as well.
Their location is really convenient if you work downtown (at the bottom of the escalator by Sephora at Pacific Centre). I have dropped off shoes right after work and they’re always ready for pick up next day before noon.

I am writing this review to save others some time and effort when going to Moneysworth to see if they can clean a stain on leather shoes. The answer is no, and they will hesitate to suggest anything.
I then asked him if he thought covering the whole shoe in the same substance that stained it in the first place –olive oil– would make it better, and he said that had worked for someone else but he was not able to recommend anything for me.
Hm. Waste of time. But I appreciated the honesty!

So, I’ve found my new shoe-​fixer-​upper place. I came here (based on the reviews), dropped off my favourite pair of pumps to get re-​heeled, and the friendly gent at the counter said, «Do you have ten minutes? I’ll do these for you right now.» Right NOW? YES! He invited me to take a seat in their cozy waiting area but I opted for some shopping nearby. When I returned, they were done, looking better than ever — for $ 10.
So impressed.
I’ve always done the drop off, return for pick up 3 days later thing at other places but having instant service really made my day, not to mention saved me time from having to pick up down the road.
It’s the little things. I got my Moneysworth. :)

I took a pair of leather Hugo Boss dress shoes in, and they did a great job putting a rubber topy sole on. Beautifully matched up and glued, perfect lines, you would never know it is there. The shoes are no longer slippery, and will hopefully survive the wet and salty winter. $ 30 well spent in my books.

I have had a number of shoes fixed here from new soles to polishing, to heel replacements and more. These guys are top notch. They are fair priced, offer quick service and their results speak for them self. If you live downtown and need a shoe repair, these are your guys.

Whether you need to fix the the cap on the bottom of your favorite pair of heels or if you need a new pair of shoes professionally stretched, you can bring them to this little shop in Pacific Centre.
They are quick and reliable. I usually pick up my shoes the next day.

It makes me sad that a lot of shoes are made with cheap plastic heels nowadays. I think it’s why the music in shops and malls is getting louder: to drown out the clacking.
If you live or work downtown, go to Moneysworth & Best and get all those plastic heels replaced! They’re not only noisy, but also dangerously slippery and hard on your spine.
Take the escalator down from the Dunsmuir and Granville in Pacific Centre, and voila! They have a good selection of high-​quality shoe accessories like laces, heel pads, and insoles (of their own brand name) which is handy if you need an emergency fix on the shoes you’re wearing.
The workmanship is excellent (they are Ingledew’s preferred repair vendor) and wait time is usually just two or three days. The two gents on staff are equally knowledgeable… however if you’re a gal, I suggest you try and get a quotation from the younger guy. He tends to give the ladies a better price!

When I worked downtown this was the closest shoe repair place to my office. And as my job involved intense amounts of walking in smart-​looking shoes, I burned through shoes and soles very quickly.
Consequently I’ve had a half-​dozen pairs of shoes repaired here with reasonable results. Nothing outstanding, but the shoes lasted as they should (considering the use). Unlike Jericho Shoe Repair over in Point Grey.
The two guys who work here are a little creepy, leering at you as you walk away and saying everything with innuendo. It makes me tired just thinking about it.
Prices are in the usual cobbler range — $ 12 or so to have heels re-​stopper. A couple of my shoes needed a little extra touch-​up work, which this location seemed to do at no further charge.
Service tends to be fast with pick up generally offered for the day after you drop off the shoes. If you want quick, reasonable service Moneysworth is a fair option.
