This recently opened Downtown location surprised me since I entered the door. They display an extensive menu on a chalkboard right behind the counter, that will definitely suits your taste. I had a great time and the cashier, who helped me was very kind while taking my order. You won’t regret stopping by, when you are around Downtown area.

I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal and book marked it for future reference on November 12, 2015 They don’t publish their hours of op which is frustrating. I did manage to get here during the day. Similar in size, décor and concept as the Cambie location but this one is busier. Decent crepes, priced fair, good bubble tea and friendly staff.

Really great crepes! I’ve only had the savoury options so far, but they are extremely filling, and really tasty. The café has a welcoming but relaxing atmosphere, and I would say this place is good for just about anyone. I’m always wanting to come here for a hearty lunch, but unfortunately they have a fairly limited opening time. Open Mondays to Fridays 12:00 — 6:00. This is the only reason for four stars. If they had better availability, it would be an easy five stars!

Similar to their South Cambie location, Moii @ Pender has a broad selection of savoury+dessert crepes, tea+slush beverages(bubble or non). Ambience: cleaner and less woody retro than South Cambie, white walls & bright lights make it crisp but still comfy. Crepes are good, and service is better/faster here. Still a fan of the slushes, which are generous and flavourfully sweet. Pricing is fair for what you get, but watch for periodic socialshopper voucher deals to optimize value.

Nosh and Nibble came here for an afternoon snack and we had the following: Matcha Latte($ 3.50) Lavender Milk Tea with Pearls($ 4.75) Caramel Apple Crêpe($ 8.50) Asparagus Crêpe($ 9.50) The Matcha Latte was reasonably priced and while it didn’t have any over-the-top leaf latte art on top, it was very frothy on top. It had a lot of matcha flavour. So much in fact when I finished the drink I noticed some matcha powder residue at the bottom. I’d recommend this drink to someone who loves the taste of matcha more than they do espresso. The Lavender Milk Tea was a standard bubble tea drink. The lavender flavour was tasty but the pearls were a little clumpy at the bottom and needed some spearing with the straw. Both crepes were made to order and came out piping hot. The Caramel Apple Crêpe came in an open box(your choice of open box or takeout cup) sprinkled with cinnamon, powdered sugar, nuts, caramel, and an apple slice. The crêpe was quite doughy which was nice but there was only a light amount of caramel drizzled across the crêpe. Because there was so much cinnamon, I think the caramel got nullified and made for a drier style of crêpe. Also for those who care, the apple pieces come with the peel on. Healthier, but I know not everyone enjoys apple peel. The Asparagus Crêpe was by far the best part of this meal. Savoury crepes like this give Moii Café a good name. This crêpe came with a combination of cheese, corn, and asparagus. The corn was poppy and the cheese was gooey; two very good features of a doughy crêpe. The asparagus mixed in well and makes for a good vegetable excuse. At $ 9.50 this is one of the more expensive options for crepes but I much preferred this over the sweet Caramel Apple Crêpe.
