Canadian Award Winning Jewellery Designer Michael Dean has spent the past 37 years developing his skills in building and designing gold and platinum jewellery that feature diamonds, gemstones and pearls. Custom designed engagement and wedding rings are his specialty. Michael Dean creates his designs in the Gallery.

Canadian Jewellery Designer Carole Baldock is Michael Dean’s partner has been making jewellery for 10 years. Carole’s specialty is designing with pearls she has also created the Silver Abstract Line. She believes each design needs to suit a specific person it just needs to find that person. She believes the piece must call your name!

The Gallery showcases16 Canadian Jewellery Designers from across the country. We are proud to be a window for the great talent that we have in this country. We feature new artists to national award winners. The majority of the designs are hand make one of a kind.

History

Established in 1984.

Michael Dean Jewellery was established in 1984 specializing in custom design work and hand crafted jewellery.

Michael Dean Jewellery Gallery opened in October 2005 at 1808 Boatlift Lane on Granville Island, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Gallery featured designers Michael Dean and Carole Baldock

Michael Dean Jewellery Gallery in 2009 introduced 16 Canadian Jeweller’s from across the country into the Gallery. These artists include John Blair, Janis Kerman, Veronica Stewart, Mikel Lefler and Kevin Cremin.

Canadian Jewellery Designer Michael Dean has spent the past 37 years developing his skills in building and designing fine jewellery. Michael Dean Jewellery was established in 1984 specializing in custom design work and hand crafted jewellery.

Michael Dean Jewellery Gallery opened in October 2005 at 1808 Boatlift Lane on Granville Island, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Michael Dean designs from the sketch stage, working with input from the client, to fabrication, and the final steps of setting the gemstones and finishing. He prides himself on his attention to detail and quality for all of his jewellery creations. His specialty is bridal designs which feature Canadian Diamonds because of their exceptional cut and quality.

Michael Dean won a 2000 Canadian Jeweller’s Buyer’s Choice Award.
