Marshalls

This Marshall is located on the second floor of the complex on Ontario and Cambie street. It has only been around for about 2 years now so its still newly renovated. Basically they sell off season stock for 30−50% off original price. They do sell the higher end brands such as Dior, Fendi, Gucci for shoes and they are starting to sell Kate Spade handbags here as well. They also sell brands like Diesel, True Religion, Hudson, SuperDry etc for jeans/​clothing. They also have a home section with small furniture items and kitchenware, bathroom/​toiletries, make-​up, toys etc. One thing i find it to be missing is the accessories/​jewelry section. Bathroom is modern-​looking and clean. Service is normal with occasional line-​ups at the cashiers on busy days. Make sure you check out their Clearance section for even better deals. Return policy is within 10 days with receipt. Parking available on upper floor.

I really recommend that you check out this location of Marshalls not only for their long open hours and amazing selection but also because they are not as crowded as Winners. I just bought a beautiful comforter set for $ 49.99 and a Nautica sheet set for $ 29.99, can’t go wrong with that! They have a huge selection of designer brand clothes and shoes. Staff is okay too!

Hier darf man sich vom ersten Eindruck nicht blenden lassen. Da dieser Laden übergehend auf Einzelstücken basiert, sieht es meist aus wie in einem unaufgeräumten Ramschladen. Man sollte Zeit mitbringen und muss Glück haben, definitiv nichts für Shoppingmuffel. Am besten nichts bestimmtes suchen und sich nicht auf irgendetwas einschießen, dann läuft es auch mit dem Shoppen… mal mehr mal weniger, daher halten wir so gut wie in jeder Filiale an… denn was es da nicht gab, kann in der anderen schon wieder ganz anders aussehen. Auch mit den Größen muss man Glück haben und des öfteren Enttäuschungen in Kauf nehmen, weil ein Teil zu groß oder zu klein ist und es genau in der benötigten Größe nicht gibt! Von RL, CK, Herschel, Gola, Timberland, Roxy, Quicksilver, Nike, Diesel… ist hier alles anzutreffen und man kann durchaus das eine oder andere Schnäppchen schlagen! Ich liebe Marshalls und Co! Wobei hier in Kanada eher das Winners vertreten ist, aber im Prinzip dasselbe ist!

There isnt much customer service but they have tons of selection at great prices!

Was so excited to finally have a Marshals in Vancouver but after checking it out I’m disappointed. Its nowhere near as good as the selections in the States. I also noticed prices were higher than those stateside but I guess that’s to be expected when you factor in the exchange and duties the retailer has to pay to bring in clothing.

This store seems to have high-​end brands compared to Winners. At Winners you sometimes find designer clothing, but at Marshalls it is a given including Maison Scotch from Amsterdam, J-​Brand, Juicy Couture, Line, True Religion, etc. Also good to know is that their shoe selection is fabulous and includes Coach shoes as well as shoes from Italy. I found the handbag selection lacking. The shoe selection is organised beautifully compared to Winners. This location is walking distance form the Marine Drive Canada Line station.

The store is very clean and well lit. Most staff are pretty friendly and helpful, although I find the cash register can be slow. It can be a hit and miss, but I usually find at least one item when I shop here. I love that they have designer shoes, but disappointed with the prices and selection because the States have such better prices! Sigh. At least they carry it as an option. My favourite section is the baby section because they have super deals and also the bath and body section.

The staff were very friendly and the store was really clean. I found a couple of affordable things that I really love. The customers however, were awful. Kids were running around everywhere and using the store like a playground (no parents to be seen). I never see that kind of thing in Winners– next time I’ll go on a Monday or Tuesday evening when it’s less likely to be so busy.

I’m a fan of shops like Winners and so when they announced that Canada was getting a Marshalls I was so excited. First impression it was very clean and organized I dont know if it was beacue its only been open for a month or so. All the workers seems so friendly I never feel that at discount stores. Great selection of designer clothing, I did find that sizes were limited but that’s expected in shops like this.
