I’ve passed this place a million times but never knew until today that this was a print shop that does poster size reprints. Perhaps the reason why I never knew that this was a print shop before was cause it doesn’t look like any other print shop. It looks modern. It’s not a large shop. They’re a 9 – 5 operation, therefore, I was only able to come here during lunch last minute. I came in earlier in the day and asked the girl Danilla(sp) two times with my size specifications as to the cost and came back with change enough for the job. It turned out that she misquoted me and the job was already printed. Neither of us wanted to card it for a transaction under $ 2, therefore, I have to come back tomorrow during my lunch and give them 30 cents. This is fine considering that I was meaning to come back later in the week to get some replicated concert posters done to decorate the business centre of the hotel that my best friend and I will be occupying in September as part of our joint birthday. I am getting some Metric posters done. I did get an extra Rush poster for the guy I am dating. Price issue aside, the posters look amazing. The small shop has some cool locally made trinkets like cards and bags etc.

I printed out some really cute customized stickers for my younger sister and she loved it. Thank you, MIP!

They looked great from the surface so I decided to print my business cards here. It turned out to be a poor decision. My order was late and didn’t come out correctly. The clerk admitted it was their mistake but said«it’s not that bad» and refused to reprint them or refund me.

It used to seem like you could get some photocopying done at any corner grocery store for a nickel a piece but lo and behold, I needed 20 b&w copies of a simple form and I couldn’t find anywhere near Main + Broadway that would do it for a reasonable price. Convenience stores didn’t have a copier… one guy wanted 25 cents per copy(frankly, it seemed like he just made up the price on the spot). I made 5 copies at London Drugs just to use over the weekend for some studying that I’m doing. Today, I dropped in to this little shop on W. Broadway and in a few minutes, I was on my way with 20 nice quality copies at 10 cents/copy…efficient and friendly to boot. I can’t comment on their service on larger volume orders but I’d definitely check them out in the future if I needed something done. Today’s brief experience made a good impression on me. I know other print shops are up near Burrard St. but for such a simple job, I did not want to travel very far.

I’ve been a customer at MadeinPrint on Broadway for over a year now. They often special discounts on business cards, posters, t-shirts and etc. These discounts are available online and are applicable to it’s other locations. Follow them on one of their social media feeds for deals. I don’t recall them making any mistakes on my orders. My prints were always of high quality and delivered on time. Made in Print definitely is worth checking out if you are looking for a place to make any digital prints. However, the biggest reason why I am a fan of this place is the wonderful Vanessa. She has been extremely helpful with all my orders. She even corrected minor mistakes and readjust dimensions on the prints herself. She single-handedly saved my butt on more than one occasion. So Vanessa, if you are reading this, I would like to take you out to Save-On-Meat for some delicious bacon chocolate chip cookies. Call me…
