History

Established in 2012.

LXR&CO emerged in late 2012 as a wholesale retailer. Fast-​forward to 2015, and LXR&CO has established itself as the go-​to for shopping high-​end vintage. Co-​founded by two young entrepreneurs, Frederick Mannella and Kei Izawa LXR&CO has over 10 store fronts located in Beverly Hills, New York, Toronto, etc, as well as a thriving e-​commerce site.

LXR&CO prides itself on being «a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stuffy, old school industry.» Both Kei and Fred Mannella have been adamant on creating a retail experience that makes customers feel excited and comfortable when shopping luxury. His intent was to build a welcoming environment where customers would be able to purchase high-​end merchandise at great prices with fantastic customer service and a range of great brands.

Business Owner

Frederick spent years travelling the world sourcing pre-​owned luxury products before founding LXR&CO in 2012. He had a vision to change how people shopped vintage — taking away the headache of determining authenticity, fair price and condition for discerning buyers.

After starting as a by appointment retailer in 2010, Fred realized the potential of the pre-​owned luxury market and developed partnerships with large retailers around the world to distribute his products.

It was his ambition to build the first premium pre-​owned luxury shopping destination that pushed him to launch LXR&CO.

Fred remains very close to the products and continues to oversee purchasing and quality control management in addition to his role as president.
