I love this little consignment store for its combination of Vintage and Modern clothing. For a tiny space, the selection is always interesting and I always seem to find something perfect. They have both women’s and men’s clothing, with the women’s section being a bit larger.
I find the prices to be very reasonable and the items offered on consignment are really well chosen. There is an excellent mix of vintage pieces, street fashion and designer. The prices on designer pieces are very good indeed! Lines also has a good selection of vintage gloves, cuff links, purses, vintage aprons and retro kitchy décor items. They even have vintage fur coats and crinolines! If I’m looking for something in particular, I found it pays to ask. They have more stuff that is not on display and seem very happy to pull stock out of the back or from behind the counter.
Bring CASH and be prepared to stay awhile.

It’s a small shop, however, I find that their selection is picked with care and quality to ensure that only the decent and best take up real estate in this small store. There are some awesome treasures that friends have picked up, however, nothing that has suited my personality. I am just appreciative that there is a store like this that actually cares about what they carry. Prices are all over the map.

Fabulous! On my last visit, I spied a pair of Fluevog boots for just $ 100, Stuart Weitzman heels for $ 40, and Michael Kors heels for $ 35. And that was just in my size … I may head back for the fluffy furry scarf in the window — and if those shoes are still there, I might have to give at least one of the pairs a forever home.

I pop my head into this place every few weeks, seeing as it’s right around the corner. Most times, I come up empty handed but occasionally there’s a gem (like my 60’s chiffon shift dress — I love thee so). On the clothing side, it seems to be a little one dimensional and you might have better luck (and definitely better prices) at Front & Company across the street.
But what this place IS wonderful for is gloves. Yup. You heard me. Gloves.
When I combed the city last year looking for a lovely pair of brown, real leather gloves for fall? They delivered. And my white lace pair for tea and being fancy? Found at Lines.
They’ve also got some really sweet accessories and you can generally talk down the price some. And bow ties! They have a drawer FULL of good looking bow ties!
Because bow ties are cool.
Worth checking out if you’re on the hunt for accessories.
Hint: It’s cash only but there are two banks within two blocks and if you’re lazy, an ATM in the store next door.

Wow. Unfriendly sales staff. This alone makes me not want to return. The vintage selection is small, and prices seem a lot higher than other local vintage shops. I’ve given this place a couple chances, but now I’m done.

I brought a friend to come shopping on Main St. as she was looking for some badass cufflinks for one of her best friends. Our search eventually led us to Lines. This shop has a whole bunch of neat things, and plenty of things that can be used as Halloween costumes. The best part was that they had two whole trays of different vintage cuff links. If you want blinging vintage cuff links, come here! There were also some interesting hats, as well as bow ties. My friend also ended up getting her friend a bow tie with a pseudo giraffe print.
The store itself is pretty tiny, and I find some of the prices to be quite a bit higher than they need to be for vintage, used items. Plus they only take cash.

Ok when I say this place is small I mean SMALL lol… yeah its pretty small, but she uses her space well. The lady is always there to greet me and is very happy to see return customers. I have gotten a few things here and always been pleased. Her jeans are fabulous! She must have some secret up her sleeve to have jeans sized 32 and over that are that cute come walking into her store. So yes I buy mostly jeans here. Her shoes are quite cute and sometimes totally funky (a pair of teal 80’s roller skates!) her purses are ok, most of her clothing is modern and kind of borderline club friendly. I think the best part about her store is that she is ALWAYS open on time. That really bugs me to go to main (thrift store mecca) and find that 3 out of my first 4 stores visited aren’t open even though their hours say that should be… so a BIG thank you hug to this woman for making my morning!
