History

Established in 2011.

Downtown & The West End was in need of a spacious, clean, upscale, beautiful & comfortable business to wash laundry & to bring their dry cleaning.

We recognized that there wasn’t an environmentally friendly option in the area. Using chemical free laundry detergents and giving clients the option to have their «dry clean only» articles cleaned with a 100% chemical free «Wet Cleaning» option might just be what Vancouver needed. It’s been great.

We launched our amazing pick up and delivery service, our $ 2.25 shirt service, leather & suede cleaning, and our carpet cleaning services within the first year. All have been met with great appreciation.

We strive to continue to offer great services at a very reasonable price.

I am living aboard a sailboat and therefore frequent laundromats every week to two weeks. This is one of the best places I’ve been: clean with lots of large machines, friendly/​helpful staff, free WiFi and parking. Prices are what I’d expect. A nice clean restroom too! What more could a person want? Highly recommend this place.

The owner is really nice, remembers your name and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. There’s tons of machines, the prices are on par, there’s comfortable seating and free wifi. Also, lots of magazines and a hi-​def TV so you’ll never be bored doing your laundry. I’ve always brought cash so I’m not sure about credit and debit use, but I do know they always have plentiful amounts of change for doing your laundry.

I didn’t think that doing laundry while on my honeymoon would be a highlight, but it was! Very clean, stylishly decorated and comfortable space. And we spoke with the owner who was very pleasant and gave us an awesome recommendation for an excursion to Lynn Canyon. A great experience, and the machines are high quality and in excellent condition.

Great place! Our washer broke so this was my first ever time using a laundromat. its clean and comfortable, nice sofas to sit and wait. Only $ 5 for my weeks worth of washing and drying and staff was super friendly :)

I walked here from the Marriott Hotel on W. Hastings, up the hill several blocks. I had originally gone left on Davie instead of right. BE SURE YOU GO RIGHT from BUTE ST. There’s another laundromat on Davie if you accidentally turn left from Bute, but it did not look as nice or seem as nice as Laundry Valet, which is again is to the RIGHT on DAVIE from BUTE.
If you’re in a hotel, they will do pick up & delivery btw.
You can choose to get unscented Tide if you wish, they also have other brands and pods there.
WiFi — totally awesome. I went there and sat on the very comfy couches & brought my Google Nexus 7, learned German via Duolingo (on silent) while my laundry was washing and drying.
Total price for a load of laundry — under $ 5, this was for the machines, the laundry detergent, the softener & the drying.
They will take your Visa there, even if you’re from the USA.
Totally friendly, great, helpful, wonderful. No one is smoking on the inside, oh and it’s also either air conditioned in there or the fans really work well, because on a hot day, it’s nice and cool inside.

The friendliest, most accommodating service I’ve experienced. There was no request too big for the young lady in charge. She helped us with our laundry and left everything at our disposal to assist us in feeding our 5 month old.
We also left with a week’s worth of travel clothes laundered and dried for under $ 10.

My brother and I were getting off a long cruise from Alaska to Canada and we were carrying a pile of staaanky clothes that needed a thorough but relatively inexpensive wash and dry. Laundry Valet was the perfect place to do it. It was a 15 minute walk uphill on Davie St which is (to our surprise at the time) the gay pride capital of Vancouver. The rainbow flags on every corner made it a dead giveaway.
The store has WI-​FI and those celebrity gossip magazines (if you ever want to catch up on mindless hollywood drama) and is conveniently located beside a coffee shop that has a killer Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Overall, it was a delight to be able to find a coin laundry place relatively close to our hotel. While we spent a little over $ 10 to both wash and dry our whites and colored clothes (it’s $ 2.50 per cycle + $ 1 detergent per cup) we got our own laundry done and managed to spend the afternoon enjoying the cheap eats on the «fabulous» Davie St. instead of paying our hotel over $ 100 to get our clothes washed.
