After researching online and viewing several Unilocal reviews, I called Stephen asking for a quote for a balcony screen door for my mothers condo. Since it was the beginning of the dreaded bug season I was surprised that he was able to come by so quickly. In addition to being prompt, he was very professional, courteous and informative about his services & products.
As a result, we ordered a retractable screen door and he was on point as to when it would be delivered & installed.
Couldn’t be more pleased with the final product for: aesthetic appearance (is invisibility an appearance?) and ease of functionality.

Given how hot the summers are getting in Vancouver, we needed screens to keep our condo cool while keeping the bugs out. After some research and the great Unilocal reviews, we decided to go with this place and are so incredibly pleased that we did.
Stephen did a phenomenal job installing beautiful window screens in our condo. Professional, punctual and friendly, Stephen came in to measure our windows, provided us with great options and within 10 days we got beautiful custom-​made window screens at an exceptional price.

I gave Stephen a call to order 2 balcony door and 2 window screens.
He came on time and measured my doors and windows. Very reasonable prices. $ 125 for the door and $ 55 for the windows. Labour was $ 70. I upgraded the windows to magnet attachments. These are awesome because no holes need to be drilled into your windows. Stephen pointed out that my door frames were uneven because of building sag. He also gave me pointers on some window problems I had.
Order time was one week. He came on-​time once again and installed my order without a problem. One of the door screens had a torn plastic piece and Stephen already knew that and had it replaced on the spot. «Give me a call if there are any problems.»
He is very polite. When in my house, he took off his shows, cleaned up after himself and made absolutely sure that everything that he opened was closed shut afterwards. This pride in workmanship made me feel like he was working on his own house.
Now I have more projects in mind and know who to call =]

I called Lam’s window fashions after they were suggested by my landlord. Stephen came in right away to measure my windows and even offered a thicker mesh for the balcony door after seeing that I had a cat. The quote was reasonable and Stephen was back within a week to install the new screens. He took the time to show me how to remove and adjust the screens if I need to. He was fast, friendly, and very helpful!
