The man said I am not a human being because I don’t speak Chinese. Full disclosure: I’m Canadian born Chinese. I told him he is a racist. I don’t know anything about their food, but based on this attitude I will not support this business again.

This place has good bubble tea. They also offer really cheap food. The food is good, easy to make so I guess that’s why it’s quite cheap. Service is alright. I just don’t like how if you go around school times it’s loaded with kids.

Bubble tea flavour is good but the tapioca is always mushy, the sushi is probably some of the worst I have ever had, and the prawn tempura tasted like burnt toast probably because it was reheated from frozen in a toaster oven…

The most delicious bubble tea that has ever graced my lips. The owners are as kind as saints and as beautiful as Greek gods.

This is not too far from hood which is why I come here once in a while, specifically for their mango passion tea bubble tea, however, the past 2 visits the customer service has been very rude and condescending. I wanted to pay by debit for a drink that was under $ 5 and they told me that they were going to charge me a 50 cent fee, however, no where does it say that there’s a min and or extra charge. They didn’t even tell me about the minimum charge or the fee, they just rang it up. I questioned the total and the guy at the til seemed a little offended that I did. So I left without paying and no bubble tea. They lost a good customer.

The drinks themselves are great– I’ve tried a lot of places since moving to Seattle and I liked this one the most so far. I would rate this place 4 stars if it wasnt for the experience I had. I had just driven up from the US and handed the guy my VISA(which works fine in Canada) and I gave him my order. without a word he disappears to the back for twenty minutes and comes back with an armful of drinks but not mine. When I asked him if he had forgotten my order he said he wouldnt accept my card because the back wasnt signed. So I paid with American cash(they do a 1:1 exchange rate) so a drink that was $ 3 canadian cost me $ 3 American, then I got $ 17 canadian in change. if you do the math, I ended up paying $ 6.50US(or $ 8.50 canadian). If you’re going to offer such a terrible exchange rate that ends up costing americans more than double(because you lose on the payment, then again when you receive less change), try not to make bullshit excuses to not accept credit cards. then when you decide not to accept credit cards, make sure the customer knows and doesnt wait around confused.

I hate having to knock a few stars off but they aren’t open consistent hours. I’ve visited twice since our first visit during regular business hours but they weren’t open. They don’t answer the phone either when you call to confirm if they are open. :(

My new favourite place for bubble tea. Lots of flavours, although I seem to always stick with the fresh pineapple or watermelon fruit slushes with pearls. I think their pineapple slush is actually the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve slurped down a lot of bubble tea around the city. Last time I went the watermelon slush was on special too, I think it was only $ 3. Service is friendly and fast.

Finally had a chance to try their sushi. Delicious? Yes. Ghetto? Yes. The selection is quite impressive, at $ 3 – 9 for the dishes. They have teriyaki, rolls and even donburi bowls. Because of the freshness of the, the sushi is served lukewarm. A side result of this is that the pieces also break up quite easily when picked up with chopsticks. But the taste is quite decent.

Love this little bubble tea café! It feels very homey and clean. The tables are set up with decks of cards. So far I’ve been going here for their bubble tea and it is really good for its price. They have a large variety of flavors from regular bbt to ice cream bbt. Its very unique. They have a massive wall that showcases all of the flavors! If you’re ever in the area, I suggest you give it a shot!

It’s safe to say that you can judge a books by its cover, the often judgmental fat ugly people in this world are like that, anyways people are often to quick to judge this place«lack of décor» i find it unique instead of the people complaining how«run down the place is» when people see the amount of $ signs it has often reflects its interior and exterior. Seems to me that these«elite 15 Unilocalers«are often finding themselves wanting to be in a lavished seating area sprinkled with rose petals as they walk and with waiters waiting for them to order off the very cheap«2 dollar menu» and expects to be treated as a Celebrity because of their«elite 15 and many previous years before that badge» Anyways back to the review This place is great, it isn’t expensive, they have playing cards for your night owl teenagers that have a craving for a bubble tea at 12 midnight haha sadly that would be me. Wait times are usually long due to the high numbers of orders that come in, being a small 2 – 3 man operation this place cope well and fulfill its orders. The flavours they have are plentiful and they also have food sushi i must add! Beat that bubble world. 5⁄5 would go again and again and again.

It was late at night and we were up on Main having dinner and contemplating what to do afterward. We didn’t want dessert at the restaurant we were at but felt like something sweet so we decided on bubble tea. My usual go-to spot is Dragon Ball, but we decided to try something new. L & G has an impressive rating on Unilocal so we decided to give it a shot. When you first walk in, you feel like you are visting a friend’s house. A friend down on their luck. The décor is a bit wacky — mismatched furniture including a glass topped table with a display shelf underneath, a mounted TV plays an Asian soap opera, and the walls are plastered with a collage of the menu, food photos, and animé posters. Their menu is a bit schizophrenic. Yes, they have bubble tea but they also serve other food like noodles, dumplings and even sushi. It seemed bizarre to have so many things on offer but I decided this was part of our adventure and reminded myself that looks can sometimes be deceiving. Maybe amazing bubble tea awaits?! Unfortunately, this was one of the slowest operations I have experienced. Three people were waiting for their orders when we arrived, and it took a long time for their orders to come out. My friend impulsively ordered dumplings for 2nd dinner but it took them a good 25 mins before informing her they ran out of dumplings(say what?). When our bubble tea finally arrived, I was disappointing at how sweet it was. I think the only complimentary thing I can say about it is that it was on a specials list so I only paid $ 2 total. Lesson learned: Stick to Dragon Ball. And sometimes you *can*judge a book by its cover!

The bubbles were much better the 2nd time I went, possibly because it was a Saturday night(but the store was still really empty)! I guess it’s a good place to chill as they even have cards under the tables presumably free for you to use. I got the asian pear slush with tapioca this time and it was a bit too sweet but definitely flavourful and tasted like real fruit!

Only place open late for bbt that’s so convenient(for drivers) and affordable. Lots of parking nearby. Also the pearls are really well made. Tonight I had the black sesame drink as a hot drink without pearls. Tasted fairly bland and was left unimpressed. We had had it before with pearls and it was fantastic, definite four-five stars that time. Tonight, not so much. Will try again another day with pearls… Anyhow, It’ll continue to be a staple for me late nights. Might try food here one day too!

I tend to alternate between here and green leaf but the pearls here were perfect. Lots of choices to choose from. I am a boring person so sofar I’ve never only tried milktea with pearl but their slush looks so heavenly! Their milktea is $ 3 and slsh us around $ 4. The price is unbeatable!(I lied. T AND T SUPERMARKETSOMETIMESHASBUBBLETEAPRICEDAT $ 2.49) Make sure to visit when it’s not around 3 – 4 pm. Because there is a school right opposite. Otherwise there is a line up.

I’ve always wonder about this place. I used to drive by their old location all the time. My fave tea place was closed early so I Unilocaled another place nearby. Ok, let’s try L&G cuz I’m sure they’re doing something right since they’re still in business. It was a Friday night after dinner and I found parking on the street. From the outside, it looks like a run down Chinese restaurant. I went in and no one is inside. I was a lil hesitant to order anything until I was greeted by a mom and pop. Ok, I’ll give them a chance. I ordered today’s special which was taro powder milk tea w pearls. The taste met my expectations, nothing can go wrong cuz it’s just water and powder. The pearls were a lil too soft but I can’t complain, I paid $ 3 inc tax! I see that they also serve food but I’m a lil scared to try. But according to other Unilocalers, maybe I should try them next time.

I visited L & G Bubble Tea for the first time in 2007. Back then, they were located at 41st Ave. and Granville St. They made the best bubble tea in Vancouver. Uncle(the owner) was very talkative and funny. It was a lovely warm place to go at night. When I was in bad mood, Uncle would always cheer me up. After they moved, I only visited once. I did not order any bubble tea. I ordered curry chicken rice, which is surprisingly tasty. I miss L & G Bubble Tea so much. I am thinking to visit them again tonight.

Pearls are delicious! $ 3 specials everyday($ 3 includes the pearls!!) They accept credit&debit for purchases over $ 5. I love that they accept credit because I rarely carry any cash with me. Love it! Their watermelon slush is my current favorite and their milk tea has the perfect amount of caffeine for a late night study session. :) You’ll see me around here often!

Their bubble teas are made from fresh fruits which is great. The price is cheap too. Average price for two bubble tea are less than $ 10. They have Animé posters on the walls and a television that plays Chinese tv shows.

Pretty cool little mom and pop place that serves up real fruit bubble tea, sushi and Chinese food. Bubble teas are tasty and offer slush, pearls, and specials that are only $ 3. Regular price range from $ 3.50-$ 4. They have a load of other beverage options like teas, Chinese drinks and even ice cream drinks. Desserts include over a dozen flavors of ice cream and 8 cheese cake ice cream flavors. Wow! I have yet to try these. It’s a little odd that they have sushi but it’s not too bad and tasted pretty fresh, however I’ve only tried a couple of their rolls: BC and avocado rolls. The décor is very dyi, with lots of animé posters. It is a little dark inside but a cool place to take a break from the sun. Seating available for about 20. Although the décor is interesting, it looked pretty clean and well kept. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
