History

Established in 2015.

Konisa is a startup company that began under the vision of «making work better» through design innovation, user research and product development. We focus on furniture and structural related projects based on smart design principles (such as Design for Disassembly, Extendability and Mobility as well as Ergonomic) where smart products & solutions are discovered based on customer needs through user research, collaboration and observation.

From concept to final product, Konisa provides design consultation straight to product development. Our goal is to make Canadian products and smart design practices known by specializing in «good design» practices that keeps products made locally and sustainable. We make living, working and learning environments better.
