Dr. Renke is very informed, professional and great to deal with. Formerly Kitsilano Optometry and now Iris. I have been coming here for years. Very high tech progressive equipment which Is impressive. Full selection of glasses and sunglasses at reasonable prices. Really great staff to deal with too. Highly recommend.

This business is now part of Iris Optometry which has many outlets in the Greater Vancouver area. I had a terrible experience with this business. I was subjected to high pressure sales tactics, misrepresentations regarding the cost of lenses (I was not given a list of all possible costs but only the 2 highest costs for my lenses), the promise of 48 hour turnaround was breached and the original order was submitted for distance glasses not reading glasses so I had to wait over a week to get the glasses I ordered. The staff want to make expensive sales rather than create loyal customers. I would strongly recommend that you avoid this business.

Second visit here in 5yrs for a $ 90 eye exam… The office has a warm feel home feel with big leather couches and wood floor… The eye doc has a professional way of dealing with you. He did that test with the drops in my eyes and felt like i was drunk and then I drove home. yikes, all good thought.
