Friendly staff and nicely organized shelves earned points for this store. Best Buy so far are a new double bed and a MEC knapsack.

Good finds for home décor, furniture and accessories It is a neighborhood staple and constantly with new stock. The ladies that work there are very helpful and friendly.

Poor selection, high prices. I’ve been to this store half a dozen times and it’s pretty much the same stock because nothing is worth the asking price.

Wow. I’ve shopped at several Sally Anns in Vancouver, and I’ve never seen staff so miserable and tense as in this one. Something is wrong. Clearly, they are not hiring the right people or something else is the matter. Avoid — shop at one of the other consignment boutiques at Kerrisdale instead.

Although selection is slim for what it is, the first thing that you notice is that it does not smell like someone’s garage and that it is very well organized. People working there are nice and prices are more than reasonable.

I wanted to pass along compliments to whoever has hired the staff at the W.41st Avenue, Vancouver, BC location in Kerrisdale. I was blown away by how organized every department was as well as how happy ALL staff appeared as they worked away on tasks. That stated, they never overlooked the opportunity to say hello or offer any assistance, which was impressive considering how most clerks are too busy on tasks to notice anything around them. Every department had someone re-merchandising or restocking & above all I was so impressed how clean & organized this location was/is. I will definitely be sharing my comments with others. Above all, a big round of thanks to the entire staff at the Kerrisdale location & I look forward to visiting them again in the near future. Especially since almost all departments has great merchandise & in good shape to boot. I’ve gone to several locations around the lower mainland over the years & have to say that Kerrisdale’s location, staff, merchandise & prices are indeed a welcomed surprise & by and far the best store & a model which should be copied by more locations & businesses.

Reasonably priced thrift store, which means cheap. Better for stuff like glassware, pots & pans, china, and trinkets than mens clothes. Also has an assortment of furniture, tables, and paintings as well. Definately coming back to scour the store every so often for knick knacks I like.

A thrift store in this part of town? You bet… and I went in to browse around. I tend to like to look for household items. This store is quite a surprise. The stuff in here is quite nice. Nice to the point that I can see those fashionable/trendy antique stores buying the stuff and charging a premium to resell. I saw a nice antique looking bookcase going for $ 70, and it was in great shape! No nicks or dings. There was also Royal Albert bone china. Great stuff if you’re into that kinda thing. You just might be able to find Royal Worcester in here, it wouldn’t surprise me. I found DVDs and VCDs for my daughter. Doreamon and Pokemon in Cantonese. There was an assortment of these and Mandarin versions were available also. I got a couple of the Canto ones. $ 4 each I also found an UNUSED Lodge Logic 4″ cast iron skillet. It was unseasoned and had a slight bit of rust on it. $ 4. I bought it, took it home, scrubbed off the rust, and seasoned it with a couple coats of margarine in my toaster oven. BAM! It’s ready to go! Definitely coming back to poke around for more bargains.
