I am all about magical unicorns and imagination. I love macarons, that is no secret. In fact I am a macaron whore. What makes this amazing other than the awesome Asian inspired flavors is that she takes macarons to another level. She makes wonderful, whimsical and cute designs. Wherever she is at(indie craft fairs) I am there buying packs of these cutely designed gluten free treasures. I am a huge fan and loyal customer of hers. I almost feel guilty when I eat these ’cause each are like a fine pieces of art visually and taste wise.

Not only are her Chai macarons deliciously amazing, but her whole repertoire is insanely adorable! I have had the pleasure of working with her professionally, in addition to being one of the many mouths she feeds and Melany is top notch. Fabulously professional, I asked her to provide products for a photoshoot and not only did she deliver, she went above and beyond to not only make everything by hand(including a gorgeous macaron tower and delightfully tiered cake) but stayed on during the whole shoot as Food Stylist. Outstanding. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs catering with creativity.

Bought a macaron from Kawaii Eats this past weekend at Make It! Vancouver. I bought the mameshiba bean dog macaron, matcha flavoured, and oh my was it tasty! It was a strong matcha flavour, not subtle; it was good! It actually took me a few days to muster up the courage and eat that cute mameshiba. I felt bad that I ate his face, but then I felt good that he tasted so yummy. Single macarons were $ 2(incl. tax), and many of them had cute designs. Would definitely buy from again if at another craft fair(ordering at her website is coming soon). Yummy and cute!
