This location is big, but crazy busy and hectic in the mornings. It’s usually packed with lots of families and people franticly trying to order their coffee & muffins. Same great JJ Bean menu. Customer service is good most of the time.

Somewhat disappointed. Latte was good but average. Service was largely absent. Server didn’t care or pay attention. The place was 80% full but felt empty.

Love this coffee spot early in the morning before work. The people working here are the best! They have my coffee made almost before I order it Peace out to my coffee barista people and on cash register too!

Nice coffee shop. Service is quick. Shop is big and has lots of seating but a bit to noisy with all the people in the morning. I prefer smaller coffee shops. Coffee was good but not hot enough. The prices are reasonable.

Fun fact about this place, if you’re wandering past before 6am, there’s an aggressive 1-block radius smell of muffins.

Love their set up. Good place to go for late night coffee or tea.

Love the coffee, friendly staff, and airy/open space. Not great for getting work done as I’m always running into friends due to the popularity of the place. Only complaint is the wifi, which is spotty depending on where you sit in the café. Also, between 10:30 and 11:00 the wifi goes down and the staff have to reset it.

I work late and sometimes it’s hard to work at home, so I came here around 10pm and the place was great. The coffee was great and free wifi!

JJ Bean is the only way to go. The staff is always friendly at this location and that’s partly why they’re so busy all of the time, the coffee is great. You can order something unusual and they don’t blink an eye. LOVE the mocha’s, oh gosh, they’re 100 times better than Starbucks(who happens to be right across the street!). If you love coffee, please go to JJ’s.

Average coffee shop I would say. Expensive, and coffee is on the stronger side. Hard to find seating weekends during the day and early evening. Their wi-fi never seems to work properly; a weak router or something constantly causes their connection to drop and/or is very slow(very frustrating! Sometimes have to switch wi-fi to Starbucks that’s across the street). Nice place to chill though, if you can find a seat.

Hot chocolat review: Mainly go to JJ bean for their bakery stuff, not a real fan of their hot chocolate, its similar to Minks kinda watered down they use a star bucks type hot chocolat power blend with regular milk no latte or cream art. Would recommend their butter tarts or any of their bakery items very good. The hot chocolat is just ok but bakery stuff gives them the 4 stars

An enjoyable 3.75 stars, for those needing a bit meeting near DT with a private room in the back, this works out well. fits up to 8 ppl but we’ve been able to reserve it for just 4. One of the original locations and a nice too, with the fireplace for the important 1st date. good corner spot with lots of light. limited free parking on the side streets.

Okay, here’s the deal… When you’re looking for an Americano on Main, you’re not gambling on the coffee shop, you’re gambling on the barista. There is more disparity between staff in one spot than there are between the various spots themselves. There are a couple of people at this location that know how to do it right, and they’re worth the gamble. Regardless, I suggest sampling 49th Parallel, Our Town, and Gene to find the barista that suits your tastes.

JJ Beans is the best. Always great coffee and service. Just today I went in and was helped by Jess who was super understandable and helpful with the grind level for espresso beans. I’m a fanatic for life!

This place is decent. Because its now become more popular, at times you will not be able to get a seat. There are a bunch of small two-person tables but pretty much all of them are taken up by one person, with their bag on the other chair, laptop on the table and then sits for 3+ hrs. I was lucky enough to find someone to share a table as all I needed was a seat to read/study. It would be good if they had another long bar so that all the lone ppl can sit. That way the two-seater tables are free for couples. They do have a small curved bar but that only fits 6 ppl. The americano was good, not as bitter as Starbucks. I had a pumpkin coffee cake which was good too. Very moist but due to the pumpkin icing, a little sweet. It was my fault for ordering it but I just wanted to try it, rather than getting the normal banana bread or muffins. The WiFi is a hit and miss. I sat just outside by the window and my phone and tablet barely had a signal. Last time I came with a friend, her iPad barely had a signal inside by the fireplace. Maybe its due to having so many ppl on their WiFi. If they added a WiFi extender by the window, it would probably help a lot. All in all, a decent place to grab a bite, drink and relax.

Came here for some coffee. Parking is available on the side streets. This location is quite different in that there is a really nice large patio that extends onto the street. Definitely makes the outdoor experience way more enjoyable. Special mention. Not sure if this is only during the summer months though. As for the coffee, it’s pretty decent.

Friendly staff, lots of room(though it can get insanely busy at peak times), and good tasting espresso drinks. I like that the iced drinks are available in a smaller size– it’s a better espresso: milk ratio than others. Bonus points for being open til 11pm. I like late night coffee on weekends, especially with the long summer nights, but most places are closed by 9 or 10.
