I had such a wonderful time! Thank you so much for hosting these classes! The teacher to student ratio was perfect, and you were excellent at giving us step-​by-​step and hands-​on instruction. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge, and your patience! Especially on showing us how a perfect macaron should be. I like your idea of teaching classes in the comfort of your kitchen using home oven.
By the way, you are so graceful in the kitchen!

I visited some the famous dessert shops (Laudree, Dalloyau, Lady M, Café 103 at IFC and others) when I went to Hong Kong. After I came back, I thought time to make my own dessert.
I found J’Adore Les Macarons on Unilocal that they offer macron class, let’s do it!
The instructor Connie is friendly and knowledgeable. My friend and I arrived 10 mins early before the class, the notes and some ingredients were prepared and placed on countertop.
Yes, we made macarons at her kitchen. The first thing I learnt from Connie was how to pronounce Macaron. (Mac-​a-​ron). Macaron is referring to the French Macaron. If pronounce it macaroon, it is the coconut kind.
We started with a cup of tea and tasted beautiful macarons during the class.
Our group decided to make Lavender macarons with buttercream and chocolate ganache which made of 66% Valhrona dark chocolate.
Connie taught us her secrets and techniques to make Parisian macarons. During the class, she vigilant in checking and measuring the ingredients.
After 4 hours long class, I really enjoyed and learnt a lot. I took 18 macarons home and shared with my friend and hubby.
I would recommend any macaron lover to take the class or buy the macarons from Connie

Chef Connie teaches macaron making classes in the comfort of her own kitchen, with familiar tools, and with only a small group of people. It’s a great, fun way to spend a Saturday!
She gave us detailed instructions, patiently answered all of our questions, fed us treats, regaled us with stories from her classes at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and kept the afternoon light and fun with her superb sense of humour.
Those little treats are definitely a labour of love. I think that Connie has spoiled me for other macarons: now that I’ve had hers, and I know how to make them, nothing else will do.

I attended this class with Connie with my 10 year old daughter, who loves to bake, back in December 2014. I wanted to wait until I had tried to make my own batch at home before reviewing.
The class itself was very fun and informative — lots of hands on and a very comfortable learning environment. I chose this class because of the domestic setting — using equipment that I can replicate at home, instead of a fancy professional school. Connie is an excellent teacher who is enthusiastic about her macarons. Over the Christmas season, we finally got a free day to make the macarons — and we were successful — our first time! It was handy for me to have taken my daughter because she kept remembering things that ‘Connie had told us…’ Above all, she had a lot of fun.
We ended up with lots of lovely pink cotton candy macarons, which made excellent gifts for friends and family.
Highly recommend this class.

My sister and I got a gift certificate for the macaron baking class for Christmas and we both had a great time learning the art of macaron making! Connie was well-​prepared, funny and knowledgable and made sure everyone felt comfortable before diving in to the baking. The tea and macaron samples to start definitely helped get everyone in the mood.
Having attempted making macarons myself twice (with varying success), it’s clear to me now that it’s a very precise process and Connie was very helpful answering any questions we had along the way. The class struck the right balance between hands-​on involvement and demonstration. Piping the macarons correctly was tricky at first but by the end everyone in the group was doing a great job.
In the end we each went home with a starter kit and 20 macarons each. It was a fun afternoon of baking, learning and made me feel more confident about attempting to make macarons on my own again. Would highly recommend Connie’s class to anyone!

The Baking Lesson was fun and chef Connie never failed to address all our queeries and guide us in every step of making those french macarons. the overall experience was memorable and i can say that taking this class is a great bonding time for those friends or relative who share the same interest in baking, and it is an opportunity also to meet other people as well. I highly recommend other people to take this baking class especially to those who are infatuated or obsessed with FRENCH MACARONS (just like me!) who tried 4−5times attempting to create these with the help of YOUTUBE UNIVERSITY AND GOOGLE ACADEMY and yet still failed! lol its worth your time and effort and money. I have been recommending everyone to try out the class with Ms Macaron and just realized I have not reviewed it here.
For my niece’s birthday, I enrolled both of us in this class. She is the baker and I just like to try the samples.
When we arrived, Ms Macaron has a small plate of samples and tea ready for us to set our mood to relaxation.
Armed with the instructions, we went through the steps of making macarons from scratch. Even though I am not a baker, I find the steps easy to follow. I really enjoy the techniques. It does help if you know how to pipe, but not necessary.
We made two different kinds of macarons and took home 20 pieces each.
It was a very enjoyable 4 hours learning and bonding.
I can’t wait for other classes to start as I know Ms Macaron was just in Paris studying at the famous Le Cordon Bleu for pastry and sweets, etc.
If you want to up your baking skills, or just want a fun afternoon learning, I highly recommend taking a class with Ms Macaron.

I’ve picked up a box on the Bakers’ Market. I think they were: chocolate (pink), chai and bacon (beige, chai was too strong), salted caramel (beige, my favourite!!, very creamy buttercream), pistachio (green), vanilla (green, too sweet), and sesame (green, nice and strong sesame). They were smaller than other macarons that I’ve eaten. I’ve also read on the news saying that she is the one who organized the Market. What a great idea!!! Hoping to see it more often!

My association with this place is based on seeing them every weekend at the Bakers Market with really good macarons, however, get there early as most flavors are gone within a few hours if not sooner. That’s not to say that what they have left mid way through isn’t good, you just need to get there early for your favorites. I love the cotton candy flavor macaron. It’s like a carnival in your mouth.

J’adore this class! Fun and informative. You will learn the intricacies of making the delicate but delicious macarons from Connie who has trained in the art of macaron-​making in Paris. She shares her passion and dedication and has some great tips that are specifically geared to those of us who want to recreate these tasty treats in our own home kitchens. You also get to go home with a generous assortment of macarons and some very handy supplies (pastry bag, pastry tip, scraper etc.) to help get you started. I came away with a whole new respect and appreciation for the love and labour that goes into creating these little french treats.

I am from Boston so I found this store through online reviews and just from the pictures on the website I placed an order immediately. These macarons are amazing! They are the perfect combination of chewy and creamy. I have tried macarons from all over the Boston area (literally almost every single place I could find) and these are by far the best I have ever tasted.
To my surprise when I went in to pick up the macarons I discovered that it was actually a wedding store. If you are in the area I would highly recommend both the wedding favors, invitations, and of course the delicious macarons. My favorites are the pistachio/​dark chocolate and the matcha green tea flavored ones.

I heard about this from a friend who wanted to take a macaron baking class. My experience has been limited to eating these delightful treats. I am relatively new to them as just being introduced to them this year!
Although I am a macaron noob, I’ve looked online and read recipes and know enough about them to truly appreciate the precision that goes into its creation.
So I went to their website and signed up for a class on Victoria day. I went on my own as my friend was unavailable. Connie, the instructor emailed me promptly to let me know as soon as there are 4 people in the class, it will be good to go.
The class is held at Connie’s house which I liked as it was warm and comfortable and made me feel at ease. I’m just a self-​taught baker making assorted cookies and cupcakes at home and have never taken a class before so I didn’t know what to really expect.
The intimate setting of having 4 students was awesome. She had tea for us to drink, fun aprons to wear and 2 sample macarons to taste as we learned the secrets of baking macarons.
It’s great for people who have tried making macarons and need to tweak something to make consistent perfect macarons. You can tell Connie is just obsessed with macarons. I love it! She has done the work, spent time learning the skill and art of them and loves sharing that information through her classes. I think she said she has been making macarons weekly for the past year and a half! That’s a LOT of macarons.
If you love macarons and love to bake, Connie’s class is a MUST. I had so much fun, and she is so pleasant. She even welcomes emails if you have a macaron crisis at home and have questions in the future.
The price is fair. $ 100 for instruction PLUS you get to take 20 macarons home! It was definitely worth it.
The whole experience makes me dreamy for Paris and macarons. Thank-​you again Connie for generously sharing your expertise!

Connie defiantly knows how to make a fool-​proof Macaron. She’s dedicated and well experience; she is also willing to share all the secrets to make a perfect Macaron.
I would defiantly recommend this to a friend. This would be a great stagette, birthday or team building course!
