Yan has been trained in both western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for over 12 years, and has a Master Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Throughout her many years of clinical experience,

Yan uses very few needles to treat all kind of pain and illness; she specializes in gynecology, pediatric, sleep disorders, emotional related illnesses, various of internal diseases and many more.

Annie is a Registered Acupuncturists — she completed her traditional Chinese medicine education and certifications in Victoria and Calgary, and has been practicing Acupuncture and Tui-​Na (Acupressure) since 2009. Her areas of specialty include chronic/​acute pain syndromes, digestive disorders, physical/​mental relaxation and more. Annie’s goal is to help people regain health and happiness.

My boyfriend was referred to Annie by a family member and since then we both have been treated by Annie. My boyfriend has been recovering from a concussion for the last 6 months and every time he has been to an appointment he is not only free from symptoms, but is in a much clearer head space for at least a few days afterwards.
For both myself and my partner, she has been vary accommodating to our schedules, takes the time to get to know her patients and their specific needs, explains things in a clear understandable manner, and genuinely follows up with her clients and cares about their well being.

Annie is an incredible acupuncturist! She is very patient, caring, knowledgeable and effective!
She is so professional, honest and goal-​oriented that she actually told me that I can stop acupuncture session/​herbal medicine after a course of treatments, so my body can take time to heal and adjust by itself.
She has helped me with health concerns — sleeping problems, cold hands as well as emotional issues which cannot be diagnosed in Western medicine. She has also given me ‘may-​seem-​small’ but significant advice about life style changes.
By the way, her clinic is in a wonderfully convenient location, just across Oakridge Mall. Very transit-​friendly! I love the music they play in the clinic, very relaxing. The ambiance tranquilizes you before the treatments.

Came here for treatment of my stomach issues and tense back muscles. Got the 10 pack treatment package, which was a great deal and even part way through the package I already felt the results. They were extremely knowledgeable and informed me of how to resolve my stomach issues with herbs and life style changes. They also gave wonderful meridian deep tissue massages that I guess truly targeted the root of my tense back muscles as my back feels fully relaxed now. The best part is the practitioners are so friendly and helpful that I feel they truly care about my long term health and those of their other patients. I’m going to get another treatment package once I finish my current one!
