I contracted through the Marriott Pinnacle hotel where I was a guest, a limo for two hours to tour the city and surrounding area. There were a few things that annoyed me: 1. The driver did not know where I wanted to go, and this was communicated through the hotel concierge(I don’t know who dropped the ball on this). 2. There was no ice in the limo. 3. The contract period on the schedule was three hours, despite my arrangement with the concierge(and I heard her confirm with company beforehand) that it was to be for two hours. 4. Though I advised the driver that we needed to return to the hotel, he insisted on taking us to another park, which caused us to go above two hours, and thus return to the hotel late. I’m sure he did this to bump the hours up beyond two hours. 5, The limo company has a policy that if any time is above the hour, the charge is for one full hour. I rent limos all over the world, and rarely can I recall a limo for 4 people that was not stocked with drinks and ice. None were provided. Also, I cannot recall any limo company not providing a 15 minute grace period, nor, charging only in hour periods. Almost all charge by the ¼ hour, or at most by the ½ hour. Needless to say, major hassles with the limo company afterwards… I found out later that they lied to the hotel about our services and hours. Really left a bad taste on an otherwise wonderful visit to Vancouver.
