Ho Math Chess specializes in teaching math using the world’s first and unique math, chess and puzzles integrated workbooks. These workbooks are internationally copyright protected.

Ho Math Chess makes math learning fun by engaging students not only in math learning but also get them involved in fun activities which are math oriented and follow the B.C. school math curriculum.

We believe we have created and found a way to teach math in a fun way, not only in theory but students can really work on math worksheets with all the fun ideas put together. Many math educators and researchers have been constantly looking for ways on how to teach children math in a fun way and they talk about it but we have created these world’s first and unique workbooks so students can actually work on them. These workbooks were not created using a short-​term project approach, but rather over 20 years times span.

History

Established in 2007.

Ho Math and Chess East Vancouver location was established in 2007 by Mr. Aaron Woo. Aaron has a Bachelor of Education degree with majors in mathematics and general science and over 15 years of teaching experience in the public school system as well as in the tutoring centre environment.

In 1995 the first Ho Math Chess Learning Centre was founded by Mr. Frank Ho. Since 1995 Ho Math Chess has built its reputation around the world as a math specialty tutoring centre using math, chess, and puzzles integrated approach. Ho Math Chess invented copyrighted Geometry Chess Symbols, created Frankho ChessDoku, Frankho Chessmaze, Amandaho Dot Moving Puzzles, Ultimate Fundamental Math Contest Preparation, and many math, chess, and puzzles integrated workbooks.
