Hiro Japan Sushi

Always see huge line-​ups whenever I walk by this sushi place (it’s next to the Starbucks I pass by every day on my way to the office). I guess it’s because it’s a convenient grab & go sushi spot for busy people who work in the nearby offices. I decided to stop by to grab a box of sushi for a late lunch today since there was no line-​up there around 2pm.
However, being that late, there weren’t many pre-​packaged choices left in the cooler shelves. I got the Dynamite Combo, with miso soup. The sushi was alright, not bad but not particularly good either, just typical of what one would expect from a grab & go sushi place.
I doubt I’ll come back again anytime soon though, considering Fujiya Sushi is also close by and has similar quality of pre-​packaged sushi, but at more competitive prices.

At the end of the day, this is fast food, pre packaged, sushi.
BUT, it is also good sushi, and the staff are lovely. They have made a few recommendations to me, given me samples (I’m there too often to admit) and smile friendly and ask how I am whenever I’m there.
I eat here about once a week and I’ve never had a reason to complain about anything except the sunomono (the shrim is obviously canned) which is still pretty yummy and I have that every once in awhile.
